Finn had trouble getting his breath back under control when he came back to his trailer. He had nearly sprinted there from the set after he was done filming, wanting to give himself enough time to prepare everything that he had planned before Millie got back from set too. She had stayed behind to do some close-ups of the scene that was supposed to go before the one they had just filmed together.

As he rushed from one corner to the other, setting everything up, he couldn't help the smile that lay on his face as he remembered the scene they just did. Back when he had first read the script for that episode, he wondered how it would work. Having never shot anything like that before, he feared he wouldn't do a good job.

When the filming re-started in July and he noticed how awkward things were between the two of them, he feared that all of their scenes would look forced and that they wouldn't be able to be professional about it. But tonight, given the recent change in their relationship, he felt pretty much at ease about the whole thing. And it went perfectly. Even Shawn was happy with the very first take.

And he told them as much when they were done. Of course, Shawn being Shawn, he wanted another take but, he made sure to compliment both of them on their performance, emphasizing just how incredible their chemistry was and how natural the scene looked.

The reason behind that was probably the fact that, the very moment Shawn yelled 'action', the two of them had completely forgotten where they were and who was around them. They focused solely on one another and recited the lines they had previously memorized to each other.

And even though they were playing Mike and El in that moment, Finn knew in the back of his mind that they weren't entirely in character. They were them, Millie and Finn. Despite the fact that they were doing and saying things that were written on a white piece of paper, the essence of that scene was the two of them and Finn will forever remember everything single detail about it.

El had just turned off the shower tap and picked up a long fluffy towel in order to wipe away the water from her fresh-smelling skin. She reached her hand outside of the curtain so she could pick up her new favorite T-shirt to wear to bed and put it on before leaving the bathroom.

It was late in the evening and she had planned on taking a quick shower and going to sleep right after because she was exhausted. Her and Mike had spent most of the day aimlessly rummaging through Hopper's boxes. So far, they hadn't found anything of any relevance to their current predicament. Only information about some cases Hopper had worked on in New York, some documents concerning his future retirement, his veteran benefits, etc.

Although they had searched through it several times, they found nothing El hadn't already known in the box labeled 'Hawkins Lab'. There was no information on any other subjects even though it was evident that there were more there based on just El's tattoo alone, not counting Peter's confirmation of the fact.

Mike's mom came to let them know that the dinner was ready before they could finish up going through all the boxes, so they had to leave a box that was labeled 'Dad' and the unlabeled one for tomorrow.

El was barely out of the bathtub, with the shirt reaching just several inches above her knees, when the door was pushed open and a frantic-looking Mike leaped in, quickly closing the door behind him. 'Wow, you've really steamed up the pl-', he stopped mid-sentence when he finally turned back and caught sight of the girl in front of him.

His lips parted as his round eyes scanned her body, running from her bare feet to her calves, then up to her thighs that were partly covered by a black shirt, all the way up to her blushing face, 'Is that my shirt?', he breathed out the only thing his mind could register properly.
