The place Finn had in mind was only about ten minutes away from where they were by the time Millie accepted his rule-breaking offer, so she didn't have much trouble following his directions to it. She called Paige on the way, putting her on speaker so she would have her hands free to hold the wheel and to switch gears when needed.
Her sister didn't really have any complaints, mainly because she knew both Millie and Finn were responsible and that they would take every precaution necessary. Also, she couldn't help but fangirl slightly on the inside because there was definitely something going on with the two of them; so she had to, for the sake of love, let them spend some time together on their own.
When the two teens arrived at their destination, sometime after ten, they got out of the car with their masks on, just in case there were other people around. After locking the doors, Millie looked up at the sign in front of her that read Browns Mill Golf Course.
'Are you serious?', she looked at Finn in disbelief as she approached him on the other side of her car, 'You brought us to a golf course. What are we supposed to do here now? It's closed', and after looking at the timetable she panned, 'It closed at 6PM, Finn. That's more than four hours ago.'
'Doesn't matter. We're going in', Finn said with a simple shrug of his shoulders.
The brunette just stared at him dubiously, her eyebrows raising up, 'Uh... no we're not. I repeat, it's closed.'
'Live a little, Mill', he exclaimed mockingly, wanting to mess with her for a bit because he loved how agitated she was getting, 'This place literally has your name on it, we have to go in!'
She rolled her eyes, starting to feel frustrated because of his nonchalant behavior, 'That doesn't make it mine, Finn. We're not breaking in!'
'Who said anything about breaking in?', he countered, a devious look in his eyes that showed there was something she was missing.
'I'm so confused right now', she sighed, throwing her arms in the air, giving up on trying to understand the lanky boy in front of her.
'Just trust me. Can you do that?', he asked, extending his hand for her to take, the crinkles by his eyes being the only indication of his lips spreading into a smile behind his mask.
She sighed in defeat, reluctantly taking his hand, 'If we end up in jail, I'll kill you'.
Finn simply laughed at her empty threat and ran towards the side entrance to the course, pulling her along with him.
'I'm being serious', she affirmed as she stumbled after him, the long-legged boy completely ignoring her as he kept his target in sight.
This wasn't his first time coming to this place, as he did discover it two years ago whilst they were filming season 3. He had stumbled upon it accidentally when he was skateboarding in the Browns Mill park one evening.
The only reason he even went into the park was with the intention of checking it out and then telling Millie about it since its name was weirdly similar to hers. He ended up completely forgetting about it after finding the golf course and the security guard that was guarding it that night.
The reason behind that was that, after getting to know that guard, and another one that worked at the course after closing time the next several times Finn had gone there, he had dared to ask them if he could use the pavement areas inside, the ones that caddies use, to skate from time to time, so as to not get bothered by people approaching him to get a picture or an autograph.
He loved his fans and was very grateful for them, but there were times when he simply wanted some alone time and some privacy, which, in the outside world, wasn't really possible anymore.
