Feelings were incredibly confusing. Herobrine found himself needing advice. He couldn't go to Steve because he was the one causing the confusing feelings. He couldn't see Notch because he didn't trust him. He couldn't ask Alex because - while a human input would probably be best - Herobrine didn't fancy seeing that human much and he could tell the feeling was mutual.

There was, however, someone who he might be able to turn to.

The god had teleported to the third floor of his castle after leaving Steve. This floor held all of his general's bedrooms (each one had its own bathroom attached) and a living room that acted as a place for the generals to hang out when they were not working. The general he was looking for was off the clock currently, which was convenient.

Herobrine was walking the hallways (trying to locate the general) when a tall figure with jet-black skin and indigo eyes - one of the more rarer eye colours in endermen, although not nearly as rare as pink ones - turned a corner and spotted him. It was Echo, the enderman general. They seemed shocked by Herobrine's presence but bowed down respectfully.

"Lord Herobrine," Echo greeted before rising back up again. They were taller than Herobrine and so looked down to him. "May I ask why you have decided to visit?"

"Have you seen General Hexero? I have an important question to ask him."

"He's currently in his room, though I doubt he plans to stay for long." Herobrine nodded in response before teleporting to the door of Hexero's bedroom.

The door itself was unremarkable; unlike the door to Herobrine's room, it remained undecorated. The only way this door differed from the others on this floor was the metal name hammered into the wood: Hexero. Herobrine knocked.

"Rexel, if that's you again I'm gonna-" Came the voice from inside until the door opened to reveal the zombie general, Hexero, dressed in a white t-shirt and slightly loose jeans. He froze upon seeing Herobrine - remaining black eye widening slightly - before regaining his soldier-like posture. "Lord Herobrine," He greeted with a bow. "What brings you here?"

"I... have a question to ask you, General." Hexero moved away from the doorway and further back into his room. Herobrine followed him inside and shut the door behind him.

Hexero's room was modest, but not small. He had a double bed in the far left corner, the soft sheets a navy blue. A bedside table stood next to it, an alarm clock on top. Closer to the door was a desk and chair against the wall, a couple of pages of paperwork stacked on the wooden table. The floor itself was covered in a marigold carpet, where the walls were a solid stone-grey.

Hexero had stopped to turn and face Herobrine as the god glanced across the room. Herobrine now noticed how the room extended further to the right, revealing a full-body mirror on the wall and a wardrobe in the corner, in line with the bed.

"What was your question, sir?" Hexero prompted. It unnerved him to see his Lord in his room - he had never came here before, always opting to summon Hexero whenever he needed him. Herobrine stopped scanning the room to stare steadily at his general.

"It involves your involvement with that human." Hexero stiffened. "What was her name?"

"Lexi." His general seemed tense, so Herobrine began to read Hexero's thoughts. 'Why is he asking about Lexi? Did he change his mind about letting me see her? What if he plans to hurt her? I can't go against Lord Herobrine but I can't let him hurt-'

"You can relax, General." Herobrine assured, cutting through the rapid thoughts. "I came for advice."

Hexero stood there, confusion spreading through his insides. Herobrine had come to him for advice. Advice that somehow involved Lexi. The general brought up a rotten hand to drag it along the right side of his neck (the other side had rotted away to reveal the blood-stained bones there). The arm then dropped back to his side.
