Steve lay awake in bed, thinking and trying to make sense of Herobrine hugging him as said immortal held him close while he slept. It just didn't make sense. Herobrine hated humans, didn't he? If that was the case, why was Steve still alive?
The mortal inhaled sharply as the god pulled him in closer. He waited a moment before exhaling. Herobrine didn't wake up.
With there bodies now closer (the god was practically spooning him), Steve could feel Herobrines hot breath on his neck. Being able to feel this, Steve blushed a deep, hot red that covered his face. Steve had never had a relationship and had also never really pined for one however, if he ever was to get into a relationship, Steve would think that waking up every morning to this would be the norm
Not that he was (or would ever) think of Herobrine in that way! No! Of course not!
The scene of the sudden embrace earlier played over in his head, making his deep blush worsen. At the time, Steve was expecting some kind of punishment. He was told not to try anything and he technically did; he tried to see what was happening. Steve just didn't understand why Herobrine didn't punish him.
It was morning, the minecraftian guessed. He had just woken up. Unfortunately, there was no clock so Steve didn't know whether he was right or not. There was no windows either. How did Herobrine tell the time?
Shifted from his thoughts when he felt Herobrine shift from behind him, Steve stiffened. They were now back to naked chest and Herobrines body heat was causing Steve to get quite flustered.
"Good morning, Steve." Herobrine was awake now. Wait, did he hear that right? Did Herobrine call him Steve instead of Stevie? What did that mean? Was it good or bad? Did it mean Herobrine was annoyed with him? Or maybe he was in a good mood? Steve felt his brain strain in an attempt to find some answers. Unfortunately, he was drawing a blank.
"Morn-Morning." He replied. Suddenly, the god sat up, (and because he would not relinquish his hold around the mortals waist) he pulled Steve with him and proceeded to turn him until Steve was sitting in his lap. The human let out a quiet yelp of shock from being moved so quickly before meeting the white, glowing eyes of the other.
Herobrine stared into Steve's eyes. He wouldn't say it out loud, but they were absolutely beautiful. The immortal was taken back by his thoughts. Did he just think the eyes where beautiful? He's never seen a human to possess something attractive to him before. Then, he realised, it wasn't just the eyes. No, Steve himself was the thing that attracted him. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks.
Herobrine was snapped out of his thoughts when Steve shrunk under the gaze, breaking the eye contact and squirming slightly. His attention changed to the collar that he placed around the smaller's neck. A big bruise resided underneath said collar, slightly yellow where it was beginning to fade and heal. For some odd reason, there was a twang in his heart. He didn't know what it meant but he certainly didn't like it. It felt painful, yet the pain wasn't physical. The god grumbled to himself.
"Do you want it off?" He asked the mortal, who was startled and confused by the question. Steve also went slightly red on his cheeks, unsure as to what Herobrine wanted to take off.
"W-Wh-Huh..?"
"The collar."
"O-Oh...Erm..." Steve had a dilemma; yes, he wanted the collar off - it was uncomfortable and rubbed against his neck, not to mention the electric shock it emitted when he had tried to remove it - but was this a trick? How did he know that if Herobrine was being genuine or not? The answer was simple; he couldn't.
A small click and the removal of the collar on his neck brought the human back to reality. Steve blinked. Did Herobrine really take the collar off? The mortal slowly touched his neck, where the collar once resided, in amazement. It was definitely gone now.
