The tall, bulky god-hidden in the shadows-chuckled darkly at the sight. He wasn't in his castle; he was somewhere he shouldn't be. Doing something he shouldn't be. This wasn't his house. He took a step closer to the sleeping human on the bed, hugging the wolf that lay next to him.
The wolf's ears pricked up and it lifted it's head. It stared in the direction of the man. It heard him. Unfortunately, being invisible didn't make one silent. The wolf let out a low growl.
"Shhh..." The god shushed it in his deep voice and became visible, his pure white eyes glowing slightly in the dark. He didn't want this mutt waking up the sleeping human who was known as Steve. The wolf growled louder, warning him to back off. He couldn't kill the wolf just yet so, to prevent Steve from waking up before the entertainment started, he stepped back but the wolf didn't seem satisfied.
Suddenly, the wolf jumped off the bed and landed on three paws. The god noticed the bandages wrapped around the leg it wasn't using. It was injured. Good. Despite it's obvious wound, it managed to take a defensive stance. The god let out a quiet chuckle. Did this wolf seriously think it could challenge him? The king of the Nether? The legendary Herobrine? Pathetic. It growled again, a bit louder this time.
"Sleep." Herobrine command in is deep, dark voice. Upon hearing this word, the wolf fell to the floor, unconscious. He then focused on the human that was still sleeping soundly in his bed. The evil god poked his way into the mortal's mind, entering his dreams.
Steve was dreaming about mining. In his dream, he had located a massive chunk of diamond ore and was eagerly mining it, a happy grin plastered across his face. He had never found any diamonds before.
Herobrine watched Steve mine in his dream for a bit. An idea struck him on how to give 'the entertainment a quick start. Suddenly, everything in Steve's dream went dark. Herobrine suppressed himself from laughing; Steve had no idea what just happened.
Steve had dropped his pick axe in shock at the sudden lack of light and was now trying his best to find it again. He couldn't even see his hand in front of his face anymore. A deep laugh came from somewhere in the total darkness. Steve felt his heart race as he stopped his search for his lost pickaxe. Whatever made that sound was near and it didn't sound too friendly.
This was very amusing for Herobrine however. He could hear Steve's heart thud against his chest. Herobrine used Steve's mind to give himself bloody, ripped clothes then made some light admit from his body.
Steve saw a faint glow from behind him and turned around. A terrified scream erupted from his body. It couldn't be...it was the same man from his nightmare last night. Steve took a step back, only to be stopped by his back bumping into a cold, stone wall. He pushed his body as far up the wall as possible. The man was getting closer.
"S-Stay away!" Steve yelled, not knowing what else to do. This just made Herobrine laugh. Steve's fear grew and he curled up into a ball. Tears began to fall from his eyes.
Herobrine was suddenly ripped out of Steve's mind. He felt a little disappointed; Steve had woken up. Herobrine quickly made himself invisible before Steve could see him. He looked and saw what had woke Steve and was surprised to see the wolf, frantically licking his face. This mutt was getting on his nerves but he'd deal with it another time. Herobrine teleported away, back to his castle in the Nether.
