The Last Vampire [DXD]

Volume 1 - Chapter 1

The means justify the ends in war. I will have to sacrifice a great portion of my Vampires and a lot of humans but it will all be worth it. After spreading my seed to the female humans of this Earth, many halflings should arise and while the Immortal Vampires as such as myself are still rare, we have still Vampires who are eternal in life as long as no one murders them.

My fear however is not death. As an Immortal, there are things far worse than death. I would hate to see the community of Vampires I have now be ripped to shreds with no shimmer of victory. It would pain me forever. I know that it won't happen seeing as how I'm a mastermind but I will always think about the worst case scenarios.

As of today, I start my new experience at High School. Well human High School at least. Rias Gremory and her servants attend here. It's rather nice. Peaceful even. I had to compromise and stop wearing my favorite suit for this damned school so it will be the first to be destroyed when I annihilate this planet.

I want a war that will destroy most of the world and then I will help rebuild that world so everyone can revere me. A bit fucked up if you ask me but then again, there's no such thing as a good vampire now is there?

I compelled the students and staff to believe that Ayano and I have been students here from the very beginning. I am a Second Year as well as Ayano since we are both 17. I've learned a great deal of information so far. Issei, the Red Dragon, loves to spy on girls even though he has a few of them at his beck and call.

I have planned to compel a human girl to get close to Issei over the next week. He will undoubtedly open up to her with his secrets. His pride and his pain. I will be exploiting his pain so I can crush his pride. That's the first way to Rias's heart. Which is a way to Sirzechs's heart. A betrayal like that caused from someone of my position will surely cause a war.

As of late, it has seemed as if the Akeno girl has taken a liking to me. Maybe it's the way I carry myself. Or maybe it's the suit. Whatever it is will soon be useful to me. I'm just not sure how.

"Hello, Aki-san, I was wondering if you'd like to have lunch with me." A girl with pink hair said. Her name was Katase and she was very cute. She had a nice figure as well. Which always made for a delicious snack. I take her offer and lead her to the roof where I sunk my fangs into her wrists.

She moans quietly while I drain her of her delectable blood. I stop after I feel her pinch me a bit. I gaze into her eyes. Her beautiful magenta eyes. Using my compulsion technique, I was able to make her do my bidding.

"You will be Issei Hyoudou's girlfriend for the next week. You will ask him about all his pains and prides. You will report to me when you have useful information and if you find out anything of use, you will be rewarded heavily in the future." I compelled and she had no choice but to nod her head and listen to me.

"For you to be a bloodsucking vampire, you have such a polite aura."

"Well of course I do, love. I'm not a monster. I'm the Devil." I said with chuckle. I pressed my lips against her forehead and in seconds, her wound from my bite was healed. I waved before walking off.

~~TWO HOURS LATER~~

There was a time where Vampires were able to do anything to the humans without the other factions being pissy about it. But I refuse to have my family be degraded and not able to feed because of their idiotic rules.

"Master, are you okay? You seem to be plotting again." She said with a slight chuckle before making my lap a seat and sitting on me.

"I am fine, Ayano. As a Vampire, brooding is natural. However if you would like to be a good servant and service me to make me happy, I would not be opposed to that." I said, whispering to her as I nibbled on her earlobe.

She grinded a bit against me and blushed heavily. "Akihiko— Master, what has gotten into you?" She asked with a large smile. She's embarrassed but she loves this. Her face gives it away.

My hand reach around and grope her breasts. She releases a quiet moan before grabbing my wrist, prying my hand off her. "If you want my body, work for it. I will be in the kitchen if you get hungry. If you are thirsty, there are some packs of blood in the fridge." She stood up and planted a kiss on my cheek before leaving.

Of course, she comes here to distract me and fluster me. She has been doing that a lot recently and I don't know why. Besides the fact that she potentially has feelings for me, I can't find another reason. But I've known her since birth. Ayano is not capable of loving someone romantically.

Anyways, an erotic encounter will not distract me from my plans of creating this war. Nothing can stop me. Nothing will stop me. The accolades of the war will be great for myself and my race. And for Ayano as well. She is my closest friend. Katase can also be trusted so I'll spare her and her family until further notice.

Now if everything goes according to plan, a few of my soldiers should be heading out to deliver something to the Devil King Lucifer. Apparently, some humans will send a dead rat to someone's doorstep if they want another human dead. Well, I've stolen that idea and made it my own. As well as a complementary photograph of Issei kissing Rias and a new photo of Issei kissing Katase.

That should send Gremory into a rage never seen before by the likes of her brother or peerage. With her internal conflicts with how she views herself, she will most likely fall into a depressive state that will enrage Sirzechs enough to want to kill me. Any threat from leader to leader is a sign of an approaching war.

Maybe, I will have this Akeno character fall in deeper love with me before I inevitably crush her spirit. Which will further the hatred and the war. This is a win-win for me and my people. I will gain control of this planet and make everyone here revere me.

I will be victorious throughout my twisted agenda for war and anyone who dares thwarts my plans... well they die. If they value their own lives, it is suggested those impudent fools side with me because having my wrath on them will mean death.

Hm, enough thinking about murder and war. I will be able to live for eternity. I should think about the hobbies I will have to entertain myself when I'm not being diabolical or spending time with a large harem of beautiful human women.

Art. Music. Reading. That's how i should spend my time for the next week. Well after school and practicing my powers with Ayano. I never needed to train before since at 40% I can wipe out a army of Cadre level Fallen Angels but if I am to wage war against the three great leaders, I will need unrivaled strength to win.

My plan is based on time. Everything shall go accordingly given the right time and circumstances. One week. One week to train properly. One week for the foolish perverted Dragon to fall in love with Katase. One week until the second step of the Grand War is upon us.

This will be a fight worth fighting for.

A/N: When writing this, it's late at night but this chapter will be posted in the morning. I enjoy the possibilities of the plot with this story and I will make sure to tamper with every single piece of the lore until it's perfect. A lot is to be revealed soon but I hope you enjoyed this chapter. It seems like the harem may not be such a good idea as of now. But I have plans for a harem later on down the story. I will try my best to update this story everyday or every two days on an consistent basis until finished. I realized in my hiatus that making rehashes of DXD with OCs is boring. So hopefully a different type of story will be more entertaining and garner attention like the Cheater stories did. Anyways, the 3rd part will follow this soon. I hope you will enjoy that one as well. I tried making the protagonist a diabolical asshole which seems to be working for now.
