The Last Vampire [DXD]

Volume 2 - Chapter 11

All of the Seven Deadly Sins stared in horror as they watched their father rise from the coffin they trapped him in years ago. Standing next to him was the ruler of Hell, Tazgos.

"Hello again, my children. It's been a while since I've been able breathe fresh air." Lucius said as he grabbed Tazgos's wrists to drink from. Quickly his power increased as he siphoned Tazgos's blood.

"Alright enough, Lucius. We have a baby to steal." He said with a smirk. Astral scuffed and summoned his sword before dashing towards him.

Lucius shielded Tazgos and kicked his son in the chin. "Sit down, Boy. Don't forget who can kill you instantly. I don't care about you or your newborn. I will crush all of you and steal that power."

[Divide!]

Vali, in his Balance Breaker, used his Sacred Gear's ability to half the power of his dad. Lucius grunted before sprinting and kneeing him in the face. Pulling his fist back, he slammed his fist against Vali's helmet and shattered it.

Kriassia and Arkab dive into the fight between Vali and Lucius. Arkab used his magic to bind his father long enough for Kriassia to drive her spear through his chest. Smirking, Lucius broke the through binding spell and tore the spear from his chest.

He jumped forward and Kriassia with her own spear. She moaned in pain as Astral, who finally recovered, tried punching at his father. All of his attempts at hitting him were blocked or evaded. Lucius caught Astral's fist and returned a punch to his jaw.

Meanwhile fighting the Demon Overlord, Klaor, Atha, Saeddu, and Vraes were having a hard time. Tazgos dodged all of their conjoint efforts of attacking him. Saeddu pulled out her dual pistols and unloaded all her bullets into his chest.

For a minute, he staggered back in pain before regenerating. "That's a handy trick. Those bullets hurt pretty bad but I can still kill you in any moment." He said as he dashed around them and laughed.

Klaor summoned his bracers and struck Tazgos unexpectedly. "You talk too much." Klaor said narrowing his eyes. He grabbed Tazgos and slammed his fist into his face repeatedly. Kicking him in the ribs, Tazgos summons his scythe and swings it around wildly hoping he hits someone.

"Ack-" Vraes fell down, clutching his throat in pain. The scythe wasn't lethal enough to kill him but it was extremely poisonous to Vampires. Atha rushed to Vraes's side immediately and catches him as he falls down unconscious.

Scoffing, Klaor's eyes flickered red as he turned over to his Bloodlust form. "Atha, stay with Vraes. Saeddu, allow me to take him on by myself."

Lucius thrusted his fist forward, hoping one of his children would be on the receiving end. Astral, however, caught his fist and tossed him into a pile of rubble. "Is that it? You trap me for what? Almost ten years and that's how strong you get? You are all pathetic. I hope you know after I kill you all, I will pay a visit to your mother and kill-"

Kriassia slams his face into a boulder before smacking him with the end of her spear. Using the other end to try to impale him, she fails as he recovers and snaps her neck. Arkab draws energy from the Earth and channels it for Magic.

Pebbles, stones, and even boulders began flying at Lucius as Arkab continues performing Earth Magic. He dodges the stones but he is thrashed around in the air viciously by a strong gust of wind.

Smirking, he throws a kunai carved of wood at Arkab in his chest, weakened by it, his concentration on the magic falters and so does the advantage on their father. Lucius dusts himself off and smiles at his children. "All of you working so hard to keep yourselves alive. Reminds me of the time where my father slaughtered my siblings for defying him. Blackwell family curse. Our children will always end up enduring the abuse we did. The abuse you all suffered as well. I am proud of you all for allowing yourselves to fight for so long. Time to give it up however."

Klaor slams Tazgos into the ground and begins feasting on him as he finally starts craving blood. He digs his fangs in his neck, hoping to drain him completely. Luckily for himself, Tazgos broke free of Klaor and jumped back. "You are the most animalistic of them all." He says as his neck starts healing. Demon regeneration is faster than a Vampire's but at the cost of them exerting themselves easier.

Klaor knew that and used the opportunity to finally finish him. He dove forward, tackling Tazgos and punching him. He was thrown back by the Demon Overload and was forced to evade attacks by him. Using his mythical bracers, he uppercuts Tazgos which stuns him for a bit.

He swings again but misses and Tazgos throws him across the area. "Bastard. I will end your life." Klaor hissed as he rushed Tazgos again and tried to punch at him. Tazgos caught his hand and bent it backwards. Saeddu, who was tired of not helping, aimed at Tazgos's head and pressed down on the trigger of her guns. Bullets flew out immediately and they all hit him with amazing accuracy.

He stumbled as he healed his wounds and it allowed Klaor to get enough time to pierce his chest with his vampiric claws. He grunted in pain before stabbing Klaor with a kunai made of White Oak. He staggered back, feeling his flesh burn and the agonizing sensation of his nerves being destroyed over and over again as the kunai had sunk in his arm.

Tazgos fell to his knees and panted as Saeddu came and ripped out the kunai. "Brother, are you okay?" She asked with a worried expression.

He laughs at her and nods. "Of course, little sister. I am- Ack!"

Lucius drives a Stake of White Oak through Klaor's chest. All of the Sins (who were conscious) and Vali had all gasped in surprise as tears soon watered their eyes. Even Tazgos himself was surprised that a father could do it to his own son.

"Father-" He falls over, desiccating slowly. His pain was magnified with the Stake now instead of the Kunai and he seemed to be more distraught over his father killing him than the fact that he was dying.

"Very ironic that the man who gave me my life stripped it away from me... I guess this is it then."
