"So will you reawaken my brother?" I asked Katerea, who looked hesitant but agreed.

"I mean, it's not like I have much of a choice huh? I'll transport his soul into that body but you promise me that he doesn't attack me... Once upon a time I loved him." Katerea said with a sigh.

Bringing her in for an embrace, I reassured the Leviathan that she wouldn't be a victim to my brother's cruel plans or rage again.

After hugging her, she broke off and began chanting a spell. The lights flickered on and off and the whole place was shaking like crazy. A ball of white energy with a taint of black appeared in the sky. It was the soul of my brother...

The vampirism and the hex on his memory may have been the cause of the blackness in his soul. Perhaps, that's why he is crueler than how he was when we were younger.

The soul of my brother dispersed into the body of the priest and the shaking stopped.

"Is it done? Will he be okay?" I asked, looking at Katerea who developed a cocky expression.

"Yes. He should be waking sooner or later. You owe me one, Vali Lucifer. I will remain in touch." She said, walking towards the door to leave. I stopped her by grabbing her wrist.

"We're not done here. You'll stay here as long as you're needed, Katerea." I said with a small glare. She returned the glare before smirking and sitting down on the couch.

"Fine, fine, whatever. You know I-"

"Ack! What the hell is this place and what happened to me?" He said, crawling from the containment center. He saw my face and immediately recognized what happened.

"The White Dragon." He said smugly with a smirk only our siblings could produce. He didn't remember everything fully but I'm sure whenever I see him again, we can retrieve my brother's memory again.

"Hello brother. Are you okay?"

"No, not really. I have so many questions. How am I even alive? Who's body is this? And where is my body?"

"So in a twist of complete irony, it seems that Gremory didn't completely impale you with the White Oak stake so you didn't die instantly. But your body is dying slowly because of it. We can't retrieve the body yet because of the White Oak. My part Vampire side mixed with the Devil makes me extremely vulnerable to even touching it. You yourself couldn't hold it either because then everyone would know about your revival so..."

"So we let my body die? I will have it." He pushes me out of the way and heads out the door. I dash out in front of him and glare at him.

"Brother I don't want to hurt you but if I must, I will. Now, you need to go back inside and keep a low profile."

"I will never listen to you White Dragon Bastard. I will-"

A orb of magic struck his head and he fell down, unconscious. Katerea looked at me with a slightly annoyed expression. "That should erase his memory from the point leading up to the war. He shouldn't remember that much of his hostile ways either." She explained before walking off.

I carry my brother's unconscious body to my bedroom and lay him there. It should be some time before he recovers from the hit so I need to tell find a way to tell him...

~TWO HOURS LATER~

"Agh... Where am I?" He asked, for the second time today. He looked genuinely confused this time signifying that his memory was wiped. In time, we will return his full memories and his original body and then perhaps we'll have a chance at beating them.

"Brother." I said, gaining his attention. He looked at me, bemusedly.

"Brother?" He asked while looking down in surprise. He muttered something but it was so low I could barely even understand if he was speaking Japanese.

"I need to tell you something important, Brother. You won't remember but before you lost your memory, you were cruel. Unusually cruel. You caused a war on three different Factions. Ultimately, you almost endangered the Vampire species. I know it wasn't your intent but it almost happened." I explained and he bore a look of absolute shame.

I continued.

"Now I tell you this because the war has halted. For now. A new threat emerged and it calls on us to summon our other siblings."

"There are more of us?" He asked, standing up and walking towards me.

"Yes. Now in your current body and current mind state, you'll die easily. We need to retrieve your original body but we need help. You see, earlier when I went to retrieve your soul, I sensed a powerful magic coating your body. Our brother's magic. He's making sure your body is preserved. So while your body is dying slow, the process is reduced even more now so we have time."

"Well... it's a bit hard to believe but seeing how I can remember bits and pieces of my past already. I'll take your word. So, Brother, what even is this threat that's so dire we need our other apparent siblings."

I sigh and walk towards the window and stare out. "There are legions of ancient Vampires of Grand Master ranks that all want us dead. Even Vampires from Original Lines like us that want to destroy us."

"Well I don't see what you did wrong then. If I started a war then I deserve what's coming."

"Father cheated on Mother with a Devil woman and I'm the result of that. Half Devil-Half Vampire who wields a Heavenly Dragon. They want to take me out for the greater good. It's a smart tactic but I wish it didn't involve taking my Immortal life."

He sat there with a ponderous expression.

"I'm useless now but I promise when I get my body back I will seize everything that stands in our way."

That's the brother I remember. Even though he was the youngest, he was already ready to jump into a fight if it meant protecting us. Protecting me.

"Here, Brother, you'll need this. I want you to start training with Katerea. You need to learn how to defend yourself in that body until we can your original one back." I said, handing him a small sword. It wasn't technically a dagger but he could consider it one.

(The sweep sword is his)

He smiled and waved his new sword around, getting a feel for it. He held out his fist for a fist bump but I ignored it and hugged him instead. For the first time in years, I could hug my little brother again.

Even with everyone coming after our family, a single moment like this makes thing better.

But we have to find a way to clean up this mess before we're erased from this Earth.

A/N: Volume 2. Look out for little hints and such because like last volume, there'll be a lot of Easter eggs for you to find. I hope you'll end up enjoying the new theme that'll be introduced in the next few chapters. Let me know if this was a good way to start off the prologue in the comments. (Also this prologue takes place a few minutes after the Epilogue of last Volume).
