Volume 1 - Chapter 11

"Ugh!"

Akihiko chucks Sirzechs across the battlefield, sending him flying into the ground which left a large crater. Azazel dove in, drawing back his fist. Punching at Akihiko, The Fallen Angel Leader missed his attack.

Akihiko kneed him in the ribs before grabbing him by the head and slamming his head in the ground. "I think you deserve to be eliminated in the worse possible way. Maybe I can kill you in front of your friends... no no, in front of your soldiers!"

Ironically, Issei punches him in the stomach harshly in front of his fellow Vampires. Having a sour expression, Akihiko clutches his fists and strikes Issei in the jaw.

His helmet breaks on impact with Akihiko's fist.

"Ahhhh!" Being pierced with a spear of light through his stomach, the Vampire cried out in pain. Although he healed in a matter of minutes, he looked incredibly angry from his wound.

Having enough of them fighting pointlessly, Michael joins in, using his Spears of Pure Light to puncture the chest of Akihiko Blackwell. Stumbling back, he coughs up blood and curses at them.

"You all are dead! You know nothing of true terror! I will mercilessly end all of you because none of you have any reason to-"

Sirzechs roundhouse kicks him in the stomach. Recovering quickly, Akihiko dashed forward while gripping his dagger. He sliced at Sirzechs multiple times but he narrowly evaded his attacks. While Akihiko struggled with Sirzechs, Issei boosted his power repeatedly, hoping to reach his apex soon so he could prove his use.

"I will not allow you to hurt any Humans or any more Angels. Perish!" Michael said, creating a Lance of Light. The Lance grew bigger with each second. Smirking, Akihiko used his vampiric speed to try to snap Michael's neck but was stopped by Issei thrashing him around.

Issei kicked him into a building before rushing towards him to deliver a harsh punch. But Akihiko caught the punch. He held Issei's wrist in his hand, crushing it slowly like he did last time. While focused on Issei, Akihiko forgot about Michael's Lance.

Issei boosted his power again and smashed his fist against Akihiko's face before moving out of the way so he didn't become collateral damage. The Lance hit him head on. Issei heard Akihiko's bloodcurdling scream before a silence fell over them.

"Uh... is he dead? I thought there would be more of a fight..." Issei said, rubbing the back of his head while turning around.

He met up with Michael, Azazel, and Sirzechs who were all bloody and bruised (except for Michael) from the beatings they took from Akihiko.

"I guess he wasn't Immortal unlike his Grandfather. I wonder how come the rest of the Blackwells as well all the other Original families Immortal but he isn't. It's strange isn't it?" Azazel questioned while wiping the blood from his lip.

Smirking, Issei turned his attention to all the Vampires who witnessed the defeat of their leader.

"Vampires under the rule of Akihiko Blackwell, you just saw your indestructible leader fall by our hands. We can overpower anything if we work together so fighting us is pointless. If he couldn't-"

The building Akihiko was thrown into had leveled and the sky turned darker. Clouds formed and rain began to fall as the ground started shaking. A figure rose from the collapsed building slowly and a loud roar could be heard from miles away.

Bruised, beaten, and tattered. Akihiko stared at all of them with an livid expression on his face. His eyes flickered red and his fangs grew larger than larger. A red aura embraced his figure as he power grew immensely bigger than any of his opponents.
