The Last Vampire [DXD]

Volume 1 - Prologue

It started years ago. The war between Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels. Those were the Three Great Factions so to speak. But everyone seems to forget about the fourth faction. My faction. Vampires.

I am Akihiko Blackwell. The son of two pure vampires. My power and smarts can never be outmatched by anyone or anything. I am the one who will be a Ragnarok down onto the Earth and reclaim the Vampires rule.

As a Blackwell, I am the one of wealthiest and strongest vampires there has been in a long time. Without even training a day in my life. If I were to train for a month constantly, well it wouldn't end well for everyone else.

For the last one hundred years, my people have been dwindling slowly. Well, that was until recently. Devils and Fallen Angels alike have been murdering the last of my race. The Common vampires will not stand a chance against a higher ranked Devil or Fallen Angel but it's a problem since most of them are Common.

Extinction is becoming a well-known possibility facing us. And as the heir to my father's throne, I will seek out the best possible way to stop my people from dying. Even if I have to demolish every single thing on this planet.

Although, I know that I sound like a complete monster for ruin, for every creation there must have a ruin. A world without Devils and Angels and Fallen would be the greatest. Logically, it would advance the population quicker. And with my ever-so thirsty vampires, we'd reach a stable population control.

Right now, I feel the need to plot against the other factions. I'm heading to a meeting with them soon. And in the events to turn the against each other I must act soon. First it lies with the Devils. More especially, Lucifer's sister. Rias Gremory. Someone of her caliber can even shake someone like me to the core.

However, as a purebred vampire, I am immortal so shall my plans fail me, my body will not destroyed for it. My mind however, can and will be tormented every day if I am not careful enough executing my plan.

I will propose a marriage between Gremory and her servant, The Red Dragon. Lucifer has yet to find out about their endeavors however my trusty servant Ayano has. She is my right hand comrade and a potential carrier of my seed.

A very beautiful woman but as of now, she's useless within the grand scale. A kingdom doesn't require love or beauty. It requires a king and someone who is strict enough to lead over people who are incompetent.

"Master? You seem a bit diabolical today. What is it that you plan when we arrive at the summit? Murder of a representative? Perhaps kidnapping Lucifer's little sister? You always are known to do something dastardly." She spoke as she walked over towards me, handing over to me a cup of fresh blood.

I smirk devilishly as I take a sip of the blood. "My beautiful servant Ayano, soon, I will rule this world and every man, woman, and child will bow before me. I will make sure of that. Starting with this summit. Insight has been provided that Rias Gremory and her pawn have been together for some time. I will exploit this knowledge while at the summit and turn Lucifer against his sister. Azazel should be there and wouldn't you know, he is best friends with the father of Priestess of Thunder, Akeno.
