The Last Vampire [DXD]

Volume 1 - Chapter 7

It has been very long time since I've struck one of the leaders of the Opposing Factions directly. So far, it's been two months and I've been training my Vampires everyday for 18 hours a day.

As well as training them, I've been recruiting and turning more Humans into Vampires. With the training regimens, by next week, all the Vampires I've trained will be at the strength of a High-Class Devil.

Ayano, my lovely servant and romantic interest, has been training my army as well but her group doesn't train as much as mines. Therefore, the power of them is lacking by just a bit. However, that's fine because I've built a fine army of Vampires in just two months.

"Honey, what are you thinking about?" Ayano asked, crawling on my lap and pressing our foreheads together. I smiled and brought our lips together briefly before gazing at her beauty.

Out of all things, Ayano is the only person I feel like I love. No, I do love her I believe. I've never felt this strongly about someone else before. I would slaughter anyone who dare try to harm her. Over the last two months, we've gotten closer and closer.

"Ayano, you are such a beautiful person. I believe that you are the only thing in this world that actually makes me feel normal. I could not choose a better person to be with." I said, planting a small kiss on her forehead.

"It seems like my master is claiming ownership over me. Which seems to be fair to me so I will say this. Akihiko, as my master, and as my boyfriend, I pledge my everlasting loyalty to you." She said, as a smile grew on my face.

There were few times that I smiled genuinely but this was one of those times. I have an unexpressed affection for her that she truly knows nothing of and I must find a way to show her it. Even if I have to destroy half of Earth to do it.

Her eyes scanned my face sadly as she reached out for my hands. "My love, you've been planning the war for months now. Maybe you should take a break and we can have fun.." She said, placing kisses on my neck and reaching her hand down my pants.

"No, no. Not that easy my love. Let's have a proper day to ourselves." I said, thinking all of the television programs we possibly could have watched.

About two hours later, I find myself at a Grocery Store with Ayano and 300 dollars short of cash. A beautiful, supportive woman she is. However, she is also expensive when it comes to her clothes. Her new attire fits her more appropriately I believe.

"I should wear this tomorrow! It would actually be so cute, Akihiko! Please, can I have it?" She said, holding onto another dress. I am honestly confused on how she got it. We are in the food section.

Suddenly, the good mood I had vanished. I felt a sense of impending danger. I sensed another Vampire nearby.

"How about you take it up there and proceed to check out my dear. I will be back in a second."

With Ayano leaving to check out our items, I sprinted outside. In a dead end by a few blocks away from the store, I saw a man dressed in black clothes with a cross hanging around his neck. His eyes were dark red and his look was sadistic.

"Hello there, Blackwell. I am Quintillus and my family is a very wealthy line of Vampires. As you should know being the Leader of Vampires. However, I came to warn you that in a few months, there will be a group of powerful vampires such as myself with the intent to kill you and your family."

"Enough talking! What gives me the reason to not kill you right here and now!"

He smirks and points his finger behind him. "That bitch will die-"

My bloodlust form took over me and I rushed him, pulling back my fist ready to knock him out. Swiftly, he blocked my punch and countered with a harsh punch of his own.

The hit connected to my jaw, sending me back a little. I chuckled a bit and wiped the blood that trickled from my cheek. I vanished and reappeared behind him, striking a devastating blow. However, the blow didn't seem to be too devastating.

"Ufufu, I don't think you understand me, Blackwell. We are more powerful than you. At your current level of strength, you'll never defeat any of us. I will be back in a few months to finish your pathetic family line. Goodbye for now, Leader."

Scoffing in anger, I was about to follow Quintillus but I saw Ayano looking for me in the parking lot so I decided to pursue her and think about that for another day.

~LATER~

After coming home, Ayano wanted to stay in bed with me and just watch television. She seemed uncomfortable but every time I asked her about it, she denied it. Although, by the look on her face, it was obvious that she was.

"My love, there is a sacred ritual that Humans practice called cuddling and I think-"

"You sound like such a nerd hehe. I don't want to cuddle right now. I think I'm going to be sick." She said, getting out of bed. She went to the bathroom right next door and I heard her begin to vomit.

After a few more minutes of vomiting and sobbing somewhat, I decided that I should check on her to see if everything was okay.

I opened the door and saw her sobbing while holding something strange in her hands.

"Are you okay-"

"No!"

"Why? What is that?"

"It's a pregnancy test, Akihiko. I'm pregnant."

A/N: Imma keep it short, I didn't have any motivation to write but then I got really inspired after having a dream so here we are. There are a few more chapters until the Great War between the Vampires and the other Great Factions begins. Hoped you enjoyed this chapter. I will update again soon. See ya soon.
