The Last Vampire [DXD]

Volume 1 - Chapter 3

The defeat of the Red Dragon was humorous. The Bastard White Dragon pummeled him but of course, it had to be stopped before everything in my plan came crashing down.

"You... I don't know who you are or why you helped but thank you." He says, bowing his head. He seems to acknowledge my overwhelming power which is very smart of him.

"The weak cannot survive on their own. You, Red Dragon, know that. You are terribly weak and it is pathetic. For you to have a Heavenly Dragon reside inside you, the power you have a near nothing. Truly disgusting." I scolded with a glare as the Red Dragon looked down in shame.

"I promise... I promise I'll get stronger than everyone! I'll kick your ass! And Vali's! Because my true power is—"

I summoned my dagger and slit his throat. He was declaring to get stronger, but without a good start in life, you have nothing. His fate of momentarily pain now should teach him how vulnerable he is. It is predictable that the blonde will heal him with Twilight Healing.

Ayano walks over next to me and smirks. She releases some of her power and a reddish aura flies around her. The ground shakes and cracks, winds begins blowing hard, and the sky darkens. That is the true power and effect of Demon.

"You bastard! How dare you touch my Issei!" Gremory tells as she creates a mass of demonic magic within her palm and sends it in the direction towards me.

Ayano erects a shield of magic and uses it as our defense.

Smirking, I target the swordsman Kiba and Xenovia. Well swordswoman in her situation but I digress. I rushed forwards, using my dagger to slice at Kiba. He evades me and kicks me into Xenovia incoming slash but I use my dagger to block and it cracks Xenovia's sword a bit.

"How the hell did you do that? What are you..."

"I am your worst nightmare." I said with a smirk.

The kitty with white hair lunges forward, directing a right hook at me. I lean back quickly before engaging in a fist fight with her. The Gremory clan are all in for fighting together so I must be careful before I get bested by the likes of them. While using one hand to neuter the cat, I am fending off Kiba with my dagger. It proves great fun for me but I cannot wait until the Gremory clan understand Ayano and I pose a great threat to them.

Ayano is currently fighting Rias and Akeno while the blonde heals the Red Dragon. He'll be out of commission for a while but that goes well with my plans.

"Reffus Devil, ta eht sdnah fo flesrouy!" Ayano chanted, redirecting all of Akeno's and Rias's blast back onto them. Moreover, it seems like she returned the pain that they inflicted upon her. What a smart girl Ayano is. Smart and strong. Suitable for war.

"Ha!" The kitty screamed as she punched at me. I caught her fist and yanked her close to me. I quickly sank my teeth into her neck and began to drain her of her blood. I felt myself grow more power with each sip I take but stopped myself before I killed her completely. She would be useful for leverage later on.

I tossed her body to the side, seeing as how she's unconscious and cannot do anything to help her comrades. I stare at Kiba and Xenovia, the only two fighters I need to face. I get closer to them, summoning my blade but I couldn't get any closer. That damn Vladi blocked off my movements with his powers. Son a bitch.

"You know, I am bored of this. How about you all face me so I am to remind you of who is your superior. The Red Dragon, given the proper training and time, may some day be a challenge to me. Unfortunately for you, you don't have that time."

"And why is that?" Rias Gremory asked, "Why don't we have time?"

I smirked devilishly before vanishing and reappearing Gasper Vladi.

"War."

I snapped Gasper's neck. It will only knock him out as he is part Vampire but they don't know that so I'll allow them to think they are about to avenge their fallen comrade.

The swordsmen launched towards me at blinding speeds. One of them actually got me and sliced my cheek. Of course, it healed almost instantly but I am highly pissed. A black aura radiated from me as I planted my fist deeply into Kiba's stomach.

I grabbed him by his head and threw him into a nearby building. Reappearing behind him, I picked him up and kicked him upwards before throwing my dagger at him, seeing where it would land.

The shoulder.

Sadly enough, my aim was a bit off and it didn't hit his chest. Well, the longer they live, the longer they suffer. Oh my, I am an unspeakable evil but damn I love myself and how dastardly I can be.

As I begin releasing my power, the black aura becomes large as cracks run throughout the ground. The Earth itself would shiver at my staggering power. 60 percent. That's how much power I'll use.

"I will crush all of you Bastards."

I vanished and reappeared in front of Xenovia, grabbing her by the neck. I chucked her across the sky, beating her down into the ground. Watching her scream in agony was quite amusing however Akeno and Rias were pissed.

"Ayano, please quit the formalities and end them now. We have other business to attend to." I said, pocketing my dagger. Ayano smirked at me before casting a spell.

"Eid! We lliw evael siht ecalp dethascnu!" She chanted as Rias and Akeno both fell down to the ground, clutching their heads in agony. Rias stood up, trying to rush Ayano again while Akeno stayed back like the weakling she was.

"Sdrawkcab uoy og!" Says Ayano as she pushes Rias back with the force of her magic. Rias is sent flying through a nearby building that will undoubtedly cause her severe harm. I'm sure Sirzechs should be on his way soon. And to see the peerage of his sister to be in shambles like this, shame.

Ayano smiles at me and creates a teleportation circle. We leave the battleground and arrive back home just in time for more diabolical planning.

Soon, very soon, the war will begin. And we will be the winners.

A/N: The 4th part has been completed. The story is going exactly how I planned to have it so far. The next chapter will be different. A chapter without Akihiko causing mayhem for once. Since updating consistently for the past few days, I may take a bit of a break. But hopefully you guys are enjoying this story because honestly I am. I feel like this is my most story driven book yet with only four chapters -3- but I have planned out all of the events that will happen in the story so I can assure you, it was very story driven. Anyways, I hope it's enjoyable. I'll update in a day or two. See ya
