A/n: I'm very sorry for how long it took me to get this chapter out- this is my longest chapter yet so hopefully it helps make it up to you guys.
Thank you for all your support- I'm really glad you're all enjoying my story. I was for some silly reason, I was really anxious to publish this chapter, as I was convinced people wouldn't like the chapter (stupid right?) So if you do find it an okay chapter I'm just glad. Finally: I was struggling with how to refer to the 'little giant'- some people refer to him as the 'tiny giant' (as it is in the English dub) or the 'small giant'; in the end I chose 'little giant' as it seemed the majority referred to him in this way. Please don't comment about how I got it wrong as it's either the 'Tiny' or the 'Small' giant instead as I generally tried but there was no clear answer as people were so divided on what to call him. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you enjoy the chapter.

You, Hinata and Sugawara eventually made it back for lunch; a little late but hey, you got there and by the time you did you were pretty hungry. The three of you entered the mini dining room and as soon as you did you found yourself 'ambushed' by Nishinoya. He ran up to you, putting his hands on your shoulders and shaking you back and forth frantically. You were pretty shocked to say the least- Nishinoya has never seemed this panicked before.
"Where were you?! We were all running together and then suddenly you was gone- I looked everywhere for you!" Nishinoya exclaimed and you smiled at his concern. You put your hands on his shoulders in an attempt to stop him from shaking you and you could faintly hear Tanaka laughing in the background but you ignored it. You looked him directly in his eyes- the same hazel ones you found yourself lost in so many times- and grinned at him.
"Nishinoya I'm fine. I was with Hinata the entire time" you commented, motioning towards Hinata who was cowering behind Sugawara; you looked around Nishinoya to see Kageyama glaring at him and you sighed. Kageyama really had trouble expressing his emotions didn't he? Nishinoya just seemed to stare at Hinata before relaxing a little bit.
"At least you weren't alone" he mumbled, tilting his head to the side and you couldn't help but think how adorable that was.
"Well, as long as you two are alright" Daichi sighed a breath of relief and you nodded. "We're both fine- don't worry so much. I'll go help Kiyoko out with lunch" you reassured. Nishinoya's hands fell from your shoulders- he seemed much less worried than he was before. You felt bad you made him worry but you were also touched by how much he cared. Just as you were about to enter the kitchen, you looked over your shoulder to see Nishinoya; who was having an animated conversation with Asahi and smiled. He looked much happier than a few moments ago and as long as he was happy, you were too.

"Listen up- this is our starting line up for Nekoma" Coach Ukai announces and you look at it carefully- it seemed like a good line up and it played to the strengths of the team. Especially with Hinata being a middle blocker.
"I know you haven't had much time to get acquainted, so I don't expect any of you to be perfect- just because we've got a hot-shot libero and our ace came back doesn't mean victory is a safe bet. The winner keeps the ball in play, so let's see how far this team can take it! Those damn cats are not gonna know what hit them!"
"Yeah!" a chorus of shouts cheered determinedly (Tanaka, Nishinoya and Hinata being the loudest of all of them).
'A hot-shot libero huh? Well he's not wrong- he's definitely hot...And adorable."
You blushed at your own thoughts, a sudden heat rising to your face as you did so- you really did like Nishinoya. You could feel your face getting even warmer and you attempted to hide your face with your hands.
