"Are you kidding? You had a practice match with Aoba Johsai and you didn't tell me? I would've loved to watch one of the top 4 schools in action!"
You was devastated, you would've done anything to watch that! Hinata just rubbed his head sheepishly, turning to Kageyama for help who just shrugged before walking away to retrieve his milk from the vending machine. Hinata just stared at him as he walked away with an annoyed look on his face. You resisted the urge to laugh at his expression, but maintain your facial expression -a pout- with your arms crossed.
"You know it would've been weird if you came along... Right?"
"I could've pretended to be co-manager!"
Hinata stared at you with a clueless expression plastered upon his features before tilting his head to the side. "You can have two managers?"
"Yeah, it means there's someone to take over the role when the original manager eventually leaves of decides to give up their position, but they'll still be effective at managing the club- if that makes any sense? Can I come to practice today? The gym the girls volleyball club uses is being fixed up so we were forced to cancel practice."
"Sure! I don't see why not- Daichi didn't mind you coming to our practice match last time. I'm sure he'd be happy to have someone to teach me receives. He's mentioned inviting you a few times."
"Cool!" you cheered happily, before taking a sip from your soda. The bell suddenly rang, signifying the end of lunch break and you quickly bid Hinata goodbye. Running towards your lesson with a wave.
'I wonder what their practice is like.'

You were walking to practice with Hinata, gradually getting more and more nervous with each step you took. Was it really okay to invade their practice like this? At the time all you was thinking about was being able to play volleyball- but you feel like your being selfish...
"Are you sure they won't mind me being there?"
"I don't think so at all! I mean-"
"Oi! Dumbass!" Kageyama called, you both turned round, you begrudgingly to face Kageyama who immediately began to scold him, grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him roughly.
'What did he do this time?'
He turned to face you, giving you an awkward greeting before continuing where he left off with scolding Hinata.
"Wait- what did he do again?"
"He paid no attention in class, so the teacher told him to stay behind and he ran off, excited for practice! You absolute moron!" Kageyama explained/scolded, before releasing Hinata and storming off.
"Gee what's his problem! How does that involve him anyway?!" You giggled, so Kageyama really did care huh? You found it amusing to say the least, and then your mind drifted off to Hinata and Kageyama being the perfect couple. You don't know how- but you were determined to get them together! Eventually that is... You just shrugged your shoulders, before you began walking off again.
"He may just be concerned. After all, he is Kageyama- cold and distant. But he cares in his own way."
You quickly jumped up the stairs to the gym, poking your head in nervously. You stared for a moment, watching them play with an excited glint in your eye before jumping at the sound of Sugawara's voice.
"Oh hey (Y/n)! Come to watch practice?"
"Oh...Erm... I was wondering if I could join in..." you admitted sheepishly. He smiled at you, before walking over to Daichi. After they talked- you noticing Daichi blushing and made another reminder to yourself to get them together- Sugawara sent you a thumbs up and you jumped up and down excitedly, before racing to the girls changing room. Opening the door to reveal another surprised female student; and you immediately noticed how gorgeous she was. Wait...Is this the third year everyone has been talking about?
"Oh hello there" she smiled at you, and now saw the appeal.
"Hello, I'm (L/n), (Y/n). I'm joining in practice today- I'm from the girls volleyball team and the gym is just having some work done."
"I'm Shimizu Kiyoko, and it's nice to have you. What position do you play?"
You smiled, putting your bag on the bench and beginning to get changed.
"I play the libero. I enjoy it, but I do wish I could be a bit taller and play another position sometimes. "
She stared at you for a moment, before smiling. "You should meet our libero. He should be coming back soon, he may be able to help you."
"Help me?"
"To see how great your role actually is, your role on the court is just as important as anyone elses."
"But I don't score any points..." you trailed off.
"But your the backbone of your teams defense" she responded simply, before putting her glasses back on and making her way out of the changing room.
"Our libero is a second year by the way, called Nishinoya Yuu. You should meet him- I think you two would get along."
