I remember our first encounter like it was only yesterday.

It was quite unforgettable, wouldn't you agree?

Who would've ever thought that I, Moon Ayla, would instantly be in a relationship with a man who just met her right there and then?

The girl who prefers animals to people, who likes staying in and fawning over ridiculously hot and way out of her league Korean actors on Friday nights while every other typical college student is out with friends loosening up over the ravishing combination of alcohol and meat.

The girl who prefers building figurines with her little brother over getting out of the house and making new friends, who prefers to hide in the shadows and bury her nose in her thousands of books, and who likes to conceal herself behind her camera and capture moments she wants to keep as a remembrance forever.

The girl who's only trying her best to live a normal life, despite all the hardships life had heedlessly thrown at her.

'I should've gone online shopping for clothes, instead.'

Ayla thought to herself as she navigated her way around the store, desperately trying to find the exit with her arms heavy from several shopping bags.

Oblivious of her surroundings, Ayla accidentally collided into another person. She stumbled back from the impact and tripped on her own feet, causing her to land harshly on her bottoms.

She felt her cheeks heat up from the embarrassment of her fall, just as she began to collect the scattered pieces of clothing and hastily stuff them back into the bags. The person she bumped into kneeled on the floor and started to kindly help her out.

"I am so sorry. I wasn't being mindful of where I was going and. . ." Her words trailed off as she looked up and locked gazes with the other person.

Ayla subconsciously gulped when she realized that it was Park Jimin who she had unintentionally crashed into. Her stare wandered around his sharp features, admiring every detail that adorned his ethereal face. From his dark hair that fell in soft waves atop his head, those mesmerizing, chocolate brown eyes behind those tinted shades, and down to his plump lips that she could only envision, since it was hidden behind his white mask.

Park Jimin was, without a doubt in the world, the absolute definition of perfection.

Jimin handed her the final bag of clothes as they both stood up from their position on the floor. "I'm also partly at fault here. I shouldn't have been on my phone while walking," Jimin replied, his voice dripping with nothing but sincerity.
