Now, I'm on my last entry.

It has been a tough journey, trying to write everything I want to tell you in this small notebook in a short amount of time. Going through all of the memories we made together was even harder, but it couldn't be helped because these entries were based upon those moments. We smiled, laughed, and even cried. But most importantly, we cared for each other. And that's all I could ever ask from you.

I can't believe this is the end. That this is the inevitable conclusion to our story.

Jimin, even if we won't be together in the end, I'm still glad you were a part of my life. I just wish I could've met you sooner and in different circumstances.

While our time together was only a dent in the universe's timeline, it will always be my big infinity.

Jimin had been continuously ringing the doorbell of the Moon's apartment, but no matter how many times the sound resonates around the place, no one came to open the door for him.

"Ayla, please," Jimin choked out, a painful lump in his throat forming as he stopped himself from sobbing right there and then. "I need to talk to you. I don't want what you want. . . Ayla, I want you. Please."

"Young man." An elderly voice called out to him, so he turned his head to find an old woman standing outside the door of the neighbouring apartment. "Are you Jimin? Park Jimin?"

Jimin eagerly nodded his head, thinking that she would have an idea where Ayla and her family could be.

She held out a notebook and a flash drive towards Jimin, who hesitantly took them from her frail hands. "I think these belong to you, my boy."

Upon closer look, he recognized the notebook as the exact same one Ayla bought when they had been walking together back to university that one day.

He glanced up at the woman, a hopeful spark in his eyes. "Do you happen to know where they could be? I've been ringing the doorbell and knocking on their door, but no one has been answering."

At the melancholic expression on her face, Jimin's hopefulness drained from his entire soul.

"They left this morning, carrying suitcases and bags. Ayla, that precious girl, knocked on my door and asked for me to give those two things to you in case you ever showed up looking for them. She didn't tell me where they were going, but she told me not to expect her to return as she'll be going home soon."

"So," Jimin took a shaky breath, his heart knotting as he spoke. "She really left. I. . . she didn't. . . I need to. . ."

The elderly woman stepped closer and placed a comforting hand on his arm. "I'm sorry, my boy. She told me that it's important for you to read the notebook she left for you. Everything you need to know is in those pages."

In another life we'll meet again. I'll try my hardest to find you, wherever we may end up in.

Have you heard people say that your life flashes before your eyes when you're about to die? All the things you've been through, the ups and the down, the people you've met, the special ones who've left an impact and the memories you've made with them.

Well, I hope that I get to relive the moments we had together. Even if I have to say goodbye forever after that, knowing I won't ever get to make any more memories with you.

Living life to the fullest became my life motto. It encouraged me to do as much as I could in my limited time here in the world. But now I want to tell you that the person left behind has to also live life to the fullest.

Live life to the fullest, Jimin, okay? Don't be afraid to take risks and enjoy every moment of your life. Don't be afraid to be different and attempt new things. Hey, why don't you try to do things backwards? Maybe you will discover something surprising and unexpected.

Make jokes. Laugh more. Love again.

Don't think of me too often. I know I've said it a lot throughout this journal , but I just don't want you getting sad at the thought of what-ifs. I just want you to live well. I'll be with you, supporting you, every step of the way.

Did you get my message, Jimin?

I hope you did, I really hope that you do.

I'm sorry I was too much of a coward to say it to you in person.

Someday, I know we'll meet again so I only wish you happiness from now on.

       Until we meet again, Jimin.

       In another life.

Well... Here it is. We've finally come to the last chapter :(

Did you get the message that I've placed in every chapter since the beginning of this book? (Hint: there are two messages) Comment if you did ^_^

I really hope that you did, but if not, I'll reveal it in the upcoming epilogue.

Also, hi. Sorry for the radio silence for two months. I get a week break off uni before the finals in three weeks so I'm able to edit and write for a bit.

Stay safe always.

xo,
Stella
