❝ Maybe our love was meant for another lifetime. ❞

Living life to the fullest was Moon Ayla's life motto. Because maybe if she lived every moment to its fullest, there's a chance she'll scare even death away.
Each moment could possibly be he...

Knowing that I could see you here for only a few more days made every moment spent with you even more special.
Remember the day I bought this exact notebook with you? Do you see the words on the cover? Do you know what they mean?
I wanted to write these entries down on paper; so that one day, I'd be able to give them to you and you'd have my words as memories. Because as much as I'd prefer not to leave you with any reminders of me, regret will overpower that feeling of guilt inside of me from the many things I couldn't tell you in person.
Behind each of these entries, lies a memory from the moments we stumbled upon each other to when I disappeared from your life.
Jimin, I know I've mentioned it before, but believe me when I say that the memories behind these written words were some of happiest and most beautiful moments of my life.
I always felt safe with you because, as ironic as it may sound, you always knew how to bring me back from what hurts.

Ayla sipped on her iced caramel macchiato as she watched through the glass window and saw people crossing the street and walking in front of the cafe, heading off to their desired destination for the day. She became so absorbed in her people-watching that she didn't notice someone had walked in through the door and had slowly made his way to where she was seated at the far corner booth.
However, the small scraping sound from the chair being pulled back by someone who had decided to take a seat across from her caused her eyes to tear away from the bustling sight of the city sidewalks. Her eyes widened in surprise to find Jimin staring back at her with an apologetic look on his face.
"I'm too late, aren't I?" Jimin softly questioned, referring to the day he left Ayla by herself in this very same cafe a week ago, without any explanation.
A small smile made its way to Ayla's lips. "At least you made it," she said in the same faint tone.
"I'm sorry, Ayla," he said, his eyes glossed over with nothing but sadness.
She shook her head softly and reached over the table to clasp his hand in her warm one. "It's okay, Jimin. You have nothing to apologize for."
Jimin flipped his hand so it was now facing Ayla's, palm to palm. He interlaced their fingers together and gave her hand a gentle squeeze, silently letting her know how much he appreciated her unwearying understanding.
