This chapter starts at a slightly later time in the morning. Just keep that in mind.

(Russia's POV)
" How come you still walk with me instead of walking with your boyfriend?" Japan asked on the way to school.
" I mean, I haven't actually asked him to be my boyfriend...but it's because our dads don't really like each other."
" Oh... Are you gonna ask him?"
"Yeah, of course, I just don't know when."
Russia looked at the other houses. Last night had been a little hectic. Belarus wouldn't go to sleep without her teddy bear, which she had left in the living room. Ukraine was a "ghost" and kept haunting him by barging into his room like a complete nut. And Russia wasn't completely sure, but he thought he could hear someone screaming from further down the neighborhood....
" You look tired."
"I am. My siblings can be exhausting sometimes."
Japan laughed. Russia simply shook his head.
As they walked up the sidewalk to school, Russia realized that they were getting close to Germany's house. Russia pulled his ushanka down over his face and looked the other way. Luckily, both were able to pass by without any conflicts. As they got to Israel's house, they found him laying outside on the porch.
" What's he doing?" Japan whispered.
" He's asleep," Germany said from behind them. Japan let out a cat-like yowl in fright. Israel shot up so suddenly that he rolled down the stairs on his porch.
" That was chaotic," Russia remarked.
"S-sorry guys!" Germany said.
" What the actual heck.." Israel said, getting up from where he had landed. All Japan did was blush and laugh.
Russia hugged Germany. He noticed that Germany also looked rather tired. Nobody was actually ready to go back to school. Upon closer inspection, Germany looked especially exhausted compared to the rest. His glasses were crooked, and he seemed to be nodding off in Russia's arms. He gently picked Germany up and held him bridal style. Russia felt Germany wrap his arms around his neck and lay on his shoulder. Germany had told Russia that he had work he needed to do. He said he would be perfectly fine, but Russia begged to differ.
" Looks like someone's really tired," Israel said, gesturing towards Germany, who had fallen asleep on Russia's shoulder.
" He's a hard worker," Russia said. " He stayed up too late for his own good." He gently kissed Germany's cheek.
All four walked the rest of the way to school, Russia still carrying Germany. It wasn't that big of a deal; Germany was light and not hard to pick up or hold. When they got there, they stepped inside and got seats at one of the indoor lunch tables. Russia put Germany in his lap and let him sleep.
" While we're all here, we need to form our group chat for the project. "
"Oh yeah! I can do that, I've got everyone's numbers," Japan announced.
Russia nodded. Germany shifted in Russia's lap but didn't wake up. He was wearing this soft, red sweater that Russia thought looked cute on him. He chuckled at the German. Poor thing.

Russia helped Germany onto the roof. He was more awake than earlier in the day. They decided to invite everyone: Japan, Israel, Belgium, and South Korea. Everyone but South were on the roof at this point.
