Chapter 40

( Russia's POV)

     The room had gone completely silent. Russia looked at Germany. His eyes were filled with fear, and his face was panic-stricken. Russia could feel his own heart speed up. He remembered Phil warning them about something. Though he didn't say it out loud, Russia had thought about if every now and then. He had, at first, thought that Phil was just crazy.

Now he was not so sure.

" W-what do you mean, d-danger?" Germany said.

     Phillipines said nothing at first. He hugged the stuffed animal he had closer to his body. He shuddered.

" It's America and China," he finally said.

" What do they want with Germnay?" Italy asked.

Russia already knew.

They wanted revenge.

" They have a plan," Phil continued. " America is trying to get you back, and he's having China help him. Not only that, America wants you to be his... and they want to hurt Germany. Badly."

      Russia froze in his spot on the floor. He could barely believe what he had heard. America wanted him back.. and he wanted to hurt Germany in the process? How could he do suh a thing? This, to Russia, was difficult to take in.

     It must have been difficult for Phil as well, because as soon as the sentence left his mouth he shuddered again. Russia saw tears run down his face. Czech, who had done nothing since they had arrived, rubbed Phil's back comfortingly.

" How did you guys know about this?" Russia asked.

" We... we were forced into being part of it. They threatened us, and we had no choice..."

Czech trailed off for a moment.

" They threatened to hurt us if we told anyone..."

      Russia heard Germany gasp from beside him. He figured they were thinking the same thing: Phil's leg injury must have been the result of him giving them the warning.

" Is- is that why.." Israel said quietly. Czech nodded. Clearly, the entire group knew what had happened.

     Germany moved from his spot and crawled over to Phil. He patted his knee, making him look at him.

" Thank you, Phil," Germany said softly. " It was so brave of you to come to us. That was a huge risk you took, to tell us about the plan."

     Phil wiped the tears away from his eyes and gave Germany his best smile. Russia couldn't help but smile as well. His boyfriend had an odd way of making people smile. Even when they were sad about things or not feeling well.

Or traumatized by cruel people out for revenge.

" What exactly is their plan?" Belgium asked Czech.

" They plan to come in a few days. Their initial plan was to get Germany in his own home, then come to Russia saying how he had been badly hurt in an "accident." They were then going to lock him in the basement and keep him there. America was going to spend more and more time with Russ until they both fell in love again, while China got to finish off Germany."

" That's horrible.." Japan muttered. South nodded and said nothing.

     Russia was utterly shocked. He knew how crazy America was first hand, but this was too much.

He had gone too far.

" Belarus, don't frighten the guest!" Russia yelled at his sister, who was shoving Monster Cat in Phil's face.
