( Russia's POV)
Russia watched the ambulance leave his house. It wasn't like they were just going to stay where they were, but it was still painful to watch the vehicle carry Germany away. After watching it disappear, Russia stepped back inside his house. He was trembling from head to toe. A million and one thoughts ran through his head at one time.
What have I done? Why did I have to say that to him? Why did I have to hurt his feelings? What's going to happen to him?
Russia didn't realize that Japan was trying to get his attention until she snapped her fingers in his face. The noise snapped him back to reality. The room was in silent chaos. South hardly moved, a shocked expression plastered to her face. Italy was shaking, wiping a small amount of blood from a small cut on his neck. Belgium was desperately trying to comfort Israel. There was genuine fear in her eyes, which was an uncommon and unsettling look.
" Israe-" Russia began.
" Russia, don't," Belguim said, cutting him off.
" I just want to know if he's-"
Israel suddenly whirled around, facing Russia. Even before he made a move, Russia could tell that the Israel he knew was not there. His eyes were red and puffy from tears, but where grief was not in his gaze, anger was. Screeching furiously, Israel lunged at Russia. He grabbed him by the throat and tackled him to the ground.
" How could you say such a thing to him!?" Israel screamed. Russia tried to get him off. For a guy with noodles for arms, he had a lot of muscle when he was mad.
" Why would you hurt him like that?!"
Belgium ran over and pulled Israel off and away from Russia. Israel fought back, but Belgium managed to hold him.
" I'll kill you!" Israel screamed. " If Germany dies, I'll kill you!"
Belgium hugged Israel, who sobbed into her shoulder. All Russia could do was stand there. He could feel his own hot tears run down his face. His entire world was in chaos, and it was all his fault.

Russia sat in silence on the shore. It had been several days since he had seen Germany, his dad, or Belarus. He sat in the woods, where Germany had taken him to see the swans.
He sat where he and Germany should be now.
Russia hadn't seen the swans today. It didn't matter much to him, though. His thoughts were fully centered around what he had done. His head rested on his knees. All of his thoughts consisted of how much he regretted his words.
It's all my fault Russia thought to himself. It's my fault he's in the hospital. He didn't deserve to hear what I said. I didn't mean it...
From in front of him, Russia heard splashing. He looked up and saw the two swans. The completely black one, the one that had sat with Germany on their "date", stood right in front of him. Russia huffed and turned away.
" What do you want?" He said to it. " Germany's in the hospital. He's not here, and it's all my fault."
The swan cocked its head at Russia. It honked at him.
" Don't you get it? Germany probably hates me!"
The swan refused to leave. It grabbed a hold of the ear-covering part of Russia's ushanka and yanked it off his head. Russia yelled a " Hey!" and tried to get his hat back, but the swan moved it out of his reach. It walked a short distance away from Russia and put his ushanka on the ground. It then sat inside of it, honking out towards the water. Several moments later, the swan with the white heart on it's head appeared. It came onto shore and sat by its mate.
