Max went to the Ki Arts Lab as it was still around 8pm. Max walked towards a massive white building that was well maintained and quite crowded. This was the Ki Arts Lab. Ki Arts Lab or KAL for short is a research facility and shop for Ki Arts. Ki Arts are researched in here and some new ones were even sold.
Max slowly made his way into the Ki Arts Lab. He walked towards the aisle for E-rank Ki Arts. Max looked through the Ki Arts and found a few that caught his eye.

[Sword/Knife Ki art. Teaches users the art of even cuts.]

[Movement technique. Allows users to tread faster with precision and stealth.]
Max decided for a while and eventually decided to go with Fox Trot. Although weak, it would help Max tremendously when in combat and inside the Wildlands. Max brought a Fox Trot guide book for 150 Iron coins. Max went back home and started to practice.
He started to master the footwork slowly. It was quite difficult as he had to incorporate Ki into the footwork which he recently managed to grasp. Eventually, due to the system, Max managed to learn it. It was already 2am in the morning. He was practicing for around 4 hours!

Seeing this, Max was surprised. After thinking for a while, he said yes. Just as he thought of it, the guide book for fox trot was turned into a white orb and was absorbed into him.

"Open System" Max said in excitement as it seems he could absorb skills instead.
