Max woke up the next day and looked at the calendar from his phone.

"It's a Wednesday. I have school starting tomorrow." Max said as he gave of a sigh.

He quickly made his way out of his new house and went to buy new furniture for his home. Max walked into the same mall that he met Sylvia in. He could still remember the memories of how he met Teeth, the assassin that was tasked to kill her.

"I'm glad that was over..." Max said with a shrug as he proceeded to the furniture section of the mall.

Max's eyes bulged out as he walked past one of the many different furniture. He saw cool holograms that could be installed on one's tables!

"I want one of those!" He said with greed. However, when he looked at the price tag, he quickly backed away from it.

"It's worth 10 million gold coins!" he exclaimed. He had roughly around a million gold coins, provided he converted all his jade and iron coins to gold ones.

"There is no way I can afford that... I might have to sell my kidney to receive that much money." Max thought in his mind as he swiftly walked away from the hologram.

He quickly proceeded to buy a few chairs, 2 beds and a table for his home. Overall, it had cost him 3,000 gold coins to buy them all.

Max was about to make his way out of the mall when he saw a massive advertisement near the exit.

COMBAT GOD'S CONSOLE! OUT NOW!

BUY IT FOR 100,000 GOLD COINS!

Max paused and looked at the advertisement and racked his brain.

"What is this Combat God's Console? I can't seem to remember it being on the market. Is it a new product that was out when I was inside the ruins?" he thought.

He slowly made his way to the particular shop that was selling the strange item. It was a technology shop that was quite crowded.

Max had to slowly weave his way through the thick crowd within the store.

"I wonder why is it so crowded now?" Max grumbled.

He slowly made his way to the center of the shop and he soon realised that the crowd grew thicker as he made his way to the center. Soon he realised why.

"I AM HERE TO BUY THE CONSOLE!!!"

"Where is the console?"

"I can't wait to get stronger in this game!"

Max was confused on why everyone wanted this new item that was on sale. He asked around a few people and realised what the console was about.

"It's a battle simulation technology. It allows you to fight real life opponents without getting injured."

"So you can fight others inside a simulation? Can you use your abilities?" Max asked curiously.

"I'm not sure. They announced it two weeks ago."

After inquiring more, Max knew why everyone wanted to buy it.

"What an easier way to train your skills." he exclaimed.

He quickly joined the queue and started to look at the specifications of the console.
