Part 9

Lilly's pov
I woke up for school and did my normal routine. Today I decided to where a dark grey sweater with grey legging and some dark grey uggs. I was kind of excited to go to school, but I don't know if Nash meant that he wanted to date me. Then I got a text from a number
" hey it's shasa" the text said
" hey" I responded back
" what to walk to school with me" she texted
" sure meet me at my house" I said
She knew where I lived because obviously it was right next to Nash's. I went down stairs and heard a knock at the door. I opened it and there stood shasa wearing a dark blue sweater with black leggings and black boots. she looked amazing!
" hey" she said
" hey you look amazing" I said back
" thanks" she responded with a smile
We walked next to each other and talked about random things and then she said..
" Nash told me about what you guys talked about yesterday"
" ohh what did he tell you" I said
" that you said you liked him and he kissed you" she said
" yeah, do you think he really likes me"
I said with a worried expression on my face
" well he seemed happy on the phone" she said with a smile.
When she got to school we walked to our lockers which where far apart. While walking to me locker I saw Chelsea crying. I wonder if Nash broke up with her? When I got to my locker I saw Nash standing by it.
" hey" he said
" hi" I responded with a smile on my face
" well since we don't know a lot about each other I think I should take you on a date" he said
" I would love that" I said with a smile.
After that he left for class and so did I. I can't wait for the date. I really like Nash!

** lunch time
When the bells rings for lunch to start I run to the lunch room because I am excited to she shasa! When I get there I sit down at the table I sat at yesterday. Shasa soon comes and sits by me, but there is still no Nash. When I look to the table next to mine I see Nash and a couple random dudes and Chelsea sitting down. NASH DITCHED ME FOR CHELSEA!! I thought he was going to sit by me to talk about out date, I guess not. Shasa saw what I was looking at
" sorry" she said with a blank expression
" it's not your fault" I said about to cry
She hugged me and I cried on her shoulder, then the bell rang and lunch was over.

Nash's pov
I saw Lilly crying at lunch, but I shook it off and thought it was girl stuff. I was just going to sit by my friends at lunch but then Chelsea sat down at our table. I broke up with her this morning so I wondered why she was sitting by me! The rest of the school day went by fast and then it was time to go home!! When I got home I decided to go to Lilly's house and take her out for mini golf for our date! So I walked over to Lilly's house and knocked on the door.
" hey" I said when she opened the door
" hi" she said with red puffy eyes
" ready for our date" I asked
She stepped out of the house and gave me a blank stare.
" why did you sit by Chelsea at lunch today" she asked
" well first I did not sit by her, she sat by me and I did not want her to."
" ohh ok" she said with a happier face
" so you ready to go" I asked
" yeah!" She said
We drove to the mini golf place and when we got there we played for about a hour and I learned a lot about Lilly and I liked her even more! We started to drive back home.
" want to go out to eat on Friday" she asked
" can't I have a party to go to" I said
" ohh, can I go with you" she asked
" well Your not really popular so I don't know if my friend will want you going" I said
" well what are your friends going to say if we start dating? Or are you to popular to date me and your just leading me on like you like me?" She snapped back.
" I do like you, it's just....idk" I said
Then we pulled in to her drive way.
" goodnight Nash" she said with a Blank expression and slammed the car door shut.
I felt so bad, did I really just lose the girl I wanted to be with because I'm worried about popularity?
