Chapter-14

Aditya went towards Mahi followed by Pooja and Yash.
"Hi Mahi! Why are you so late?" Aditya asked faking genuineness.
"Actually I was waiting for my Abbu to go to the party. I told you earlier too that He wouldn't have allowed me to come if I had asked his permission since  exams are approaching and he wants me to excel in it." Mahi replied giving a very wide smile to Aditya.
"Oh! I forgot." Aditya replied smiling and looked at Zoya through the corner of his eyes and saw her looking at them with a frown on her face and she clearly looked confused and worried. "I will come back in a minute." Saying this Aditya went towards Zoya.
"I will tell you everything. Come with me otherwise you will keep standing here with a frown on your face." Aditya said and dragged Zoya to the corner of the hall. Pooja and Yash also joined them shortly.
"Now tell me what's cooking among you four." Zoya eyed them suspiciously.
"Nothing is cooking Zoya." Aditya chuckled "See I knew that your Abbu won't allow you to come to your birthday celebration. It wouldn't have mattered if Mahi wasn't in the college. I wouldn't have let your Abbu and Mahi know that you came with me leaving your job. But tomorrow everybody is going to gossip about this party and if we didn't invite Mahi then also she would get to know about it and knowing that evil sister of yours, she would have definitely told your Abbu." Aditya raised his both eyebrows asking for her opinion.
"Yes You are right." Zoya said meekly.
"So we just hatched a plan." Pooja smirked. " I already noticed Mahi wanted Aditya's friendship. She tries to behave a goody girl in front of him." Pooja chortles." So I asked Aditya to do friendship with her." Pooja shrugged casually.
"Today when you saw me with Mahi, I was doing the same." Aditya said.

*Flashback starts*
"Hey Hi Mahi!" Aditya came in front of her abruptly.
"Hi...Hi Aditya" Mahi stuttered in nervousness. Aditya smirked seeing her stuttering.
"So sit here and let's come straight to the point as I have a very important work to finish." Aditya said and sat on the table in cafeteria.
"Yeah...Yes?" Mahi also sat happily.
"If I invite you to a party, will you come?" Aditya asked.
"Uh...Aditya actually I can't. You know exams are coming and Abbu won't allow me to a late night party at a boy's place and that too in exam's time." Mahi said sadly.
"Aditya Hooda this can be a tit for tat situation." Adi thought and mentally praised himself for such a brilliant idea. "You know Mahi I have an idea." Aditya beamed at her.
"What?" Mahi asked.
"As you already know that Today is Zoya's birthday and she is in my gang. She is close to Pooja and Pooja wants to celebrate her day. And I wanted to invite you too." Aditya said focussing on the word 'I' . "So ....." Before aditya could complete his sentence, Mahi butted in grinning widely.
"You know my parents are going for a party today. It's perfect." Mahi said.
"That's great. But the problem is your father. I mean what will he do if will get to know that you and Zoya went to a party secretly." Aditya said pretending to be sad and looked at her to study her reaction.
"Yes that is a problem." Mahi said thinking.
"Don't worry. I have a solution. You come to the party. Zoya will also come. Since your parents are not at home today so they will not get to know. I will send my car with driver to pick you up so you need not to take your driver. Zoya won't tell your father anything about this party and you will also not tell anything to them. Problem solved." Aditya said grinning.
"Wow Aditya. Idea is great." Mahi said looking at him.
"Call me Adi. My friends usually call me that except Zoya ofc." Adi chuckled.
"Oh..You know We all love her so much. We even celebrated her birthday at 12 in the night." Mahi replied trying to be the good sister infront of him.
"Oh great!" Adi smiled at her fakely.
"So friends?" Mahi asked hopefully.
Aditya didn't want to do friendship with her since his tit for tat plan was already executed but he can't let her doubt his intentions so he gave his hand in her for a handshake half heartedly.
"Friends" Aditya replied trying to smile but failing at it miserably.
