There was now a day left till the triplets arrived and Alessia wasn't doing so well. She was experiencing lots of cramping and her back was hurting so bad. But I tried my best to make sure she was comfortable.
Alessia: "I never knew carrying 3 babies would be this painful..."
Shawn: "I know, just hang in there, my love. We got a a dayleft."
Alessia: "Maybe giving birth would be so much worse.."
Shawn: "I got your back, beautiful. We'll be fine."
Alessia: "Yeah."
Shawn: "I am kind of nervous about the arrival though.."
Alessia: "Why?"
Shawn: "What if they don't like me?"
Alessia: "Of course they'll like you, they are gonna see your talent and how amazing of a father you are. I am kind of nervous too but I know I'll be a great mother. You will be fine, Shawn. Don't worry."
Shawn: "I hope so, hey, we've never named our daughters."
Alessia: "Oh my god, you're right."
Shawn: "Did you come up with any names yet?"
Alessia: "I was thinking Ava, Evelyn, and Cristina."
Shawn: "Can the second's name be Ariana?"
Alessia: "You don't like Evelyn?"
Shawn: "I like it, but I'm just not feeling it. I kind of like Ariana more than Evelyn."
Alessia: "Yeah, you're right. Ariana is better."
Shawn: "Yeah."
After discussing, I made Alessia some dinner and then she rested for about an hour. When it was about 7:35pm, she woke up. But she was feeling more pain and her water broke at the same time.
Alessia: (groans) "Oh my god, Shawn...!"
Shawn: "What? Are you okay?"
Alessia: "My...water...just...broke!"
Shawn: "Oh my god, how do you feel?"
Alessia: "More cramping..!"
She was starting to sweat pretty fast because of how she was trying to hold it so that she won't give birth on sofa. I knew we couldn't make it to the hospital in time because it would be very hard to. I decided to take Alessia upstairs to the bedroom slowly and I placed her down on the bed. I immediately grabbed my phone and called the doctor. The doctor said she will be here as fast as she could.
The doctor arrived within just 5 minutes. Alessia was in so much pain that when she was giving birth, she screamed loud. It wasn't easy giving birth to them. But, the first one came out. And I carried it. I was looking at her face as she cried for a couple of minutes.
Shawn: (smiles) "It's Ava.."
Alessia smiled as she got emotional.
Alessia: (sighs) "She's beautiful.."
I smiled and gave her to Alessia to hold for a couple of minutes. She smiled as she was looking at Ava. After she stared at her for a couple of minutes, she groaned and the second one came out. Shawn carries the second one. The second one cried for about 5 minutes and calmed down.
Shawn: (smiles) "Ariana.."
Alessia: "Aw."
Shawn carried Ariana too. They were both placed on a blanket. And finally, she pushed out the last one.
Shawn: "Cristina.."
Alessia smiled. Cristina was on the bed with the others. They were all cleaned up and were wrapped in a blanket.
Doctor: "Congratulations, guys."
Alessia: "Thank you.."
The doctor left and Alessia fell asleep. I took care of the girls while she was resting and made sure they were fed. After they were fed, they fell asleep too. They fell asleep for a pretty long time until their eyes was able to open up. Alessia slept for about 2 hours which gave her strength.
