Alessia p.o.v

~2 weeks later~

It's been two weeks since I've seen Shawn and it's been depressing. I told my parents the mistake I did and they weren't mad, but they were disappointed because they didn't expect me to do something like that. What I did was wrong and I regret it a lot so much. I don't know what came over me when I did that, but I was still in love with Shawn. My ex boyfriend could even tell that I was still in love with him so he let me go. I was alone with my parents and with the girls. I was doing pretty much okay cause I was working on songs and strumming my guitar.

Mom: "Alessia?"

Alessia: "Yeah?"

Mom: "There's a gift outside for you."

Alessia: "Oh, from who?"

Mom: "You should go see for yourself."

I looked confused.

Alessia: "Oh, uh okay.."

I placed my guitar on my bedroom and headed downstairs. I opened the door and there was a box in front of my door and it had my name on it. I carried it inside and took up to my room. I had no idea who it was from but I opened it anyways because I loved gifts. When I tried to open it, the box moved and I heard a sound. It sounded like a small bark. I immediately knew what it was and I opened it quickly. And there was a golden brown puppy. She held out her paws out of the box and wagged her tail as if it was asking me to carry. My heart melted because of how adorable she was. I carried her out.

Alessia: "Awww hey, where did you come from?"

She was licking my face which was the cutest thing ever. She seemed like a sweet puppy. As she licked my face, I patted her. After, I placed her down and saw a note. The puppy was from Shawn.

The note: "This gift is from me to you. I couldn't really blame you for what you did. It was my fault that you went back with your ex. I wanna apologize again one more time for hurting you and for getting angry with you. You deserve to be happy and I don't want you to be in tears anymore, it doesn't make me feel better. I remember one time you said that you adored dogs and you couldn't be able to afford it so I gifted you your very own. She's a very sweet pup and I hope you like her. She doesn't have a name so you can name her any name you want to. I am coming to see you later so we can talk and make things right. I miss you so much, take care of her. -Shawn.

Reading note made me smile and it touched my heart. I can't believe he actually remembered that I wanted a dog and he actually thought of me. That was so sweet. I couldn't wait to thank him when he comes. The puppy jumped on me and I smiled as I carried her. She was perfect. I thought of what to name her and I got the perfect name. Her name was going to be Cleo. She licked my hand too.

Alessia: "I think me and you will be really great best friends."

One problem was that my parents don't know that it was a dog in the box and they didn't want a dog either. I didn't know how I was gonna tell my parents but I'm gonna tell the girls. I called the girls up and told them about Cleo and they loved her too. I knew I had to tell my parents so I headed downstairs but Cleo followed. I didn't want her to follow cause my parents don't know about her but I just let her come as long as she was going to be quiet.

Alessia: "I opened the gift and it turns out the gift was from Shawn."

Mom: "Oh really? What did you get?"
