~Another week later~

A week has passed again and my injuries were a lot better than last time. I got discharged today which meant i could be able to move but couldn't leave the hospital. My arm was still broken but was getting a little better. I was experiencing a lot of side effects just like what the doctor said. I was getting cramps on the side from the surgery. It was pretty serious which was why I couldn't leave the hospital. Alessia came again to check on me but the girls didn't come with her this time. The girls were at their friend's house while she was here with me. 

Doctor: "So he's been experiencing lots of cramping since the surgery was done, so he's gonna have stay for another week."

Alessia: "Oh, wow. How are the injuries?"

Doctor: "The injuries have improved more than before, so he's getting better. His arm is getting better but it's still broken. Once the side effects go away, he can go home. If his arm recovers too, then he can be able to perform again."

Alessia: "That's great, you're finally leaving Shawn!"

Shawn: "Yeah, I am. Thank you for being my side."

Alessia: "I would never leave your side."

Shawn: "You're the best wife a husband could ever ask for."

Alessia: "Awww, I love you so much."

Shawn: "I love you too, beautiful."

Alessia: "Does this mean I can be able to kiss you?"

I smiled.

Shawn: "Yes it does."

And we kissed. 

Shawn: "I missed your kisses too."

Alessia: "And i've missed yours."

We kissed again but then I started to feel pain. The pain felt like a huge shock that would come and go. 

Alessia: "Omg Shawn..."

I groaned. This pain was pretty serious than I thought it would be.

Doctor: "You need to lie down for sometime."

Shawn: "Yeah, I think that would be best.."

Alessia helped me to lie back down on the bed. The pain reduced a bit when I lied down.

Alessia: "Is there any treatment for the pain?"

Doctor: "No I'm sorry, there isn't. The pain goes away on by itself."

Alessia: "But it won't last, right?"

Doctor: "No, it'll be gone by next week."

Alessia: "You'll be alright, Shawn."

Shawn: "I know, I will."

We held hands.

Shawn: "How are the girls?"

Alessia: "They're doing good, they really miss you and they can't wait to see you back home in a week."

Shawn: "I can't wait to be back home to spend time with you and the girls, maybe we could go on a family vacation or take the girls with us if we do another tour someday."

Alessia: "That would be great."

I kissed her hand. Having Alessia in the hospital with me made me feel so positive about this surgery recovery. I knew I was gonna be okay with her by my side. She was there with me through it all, I was the luckiest guy in the world. She was the best. Alessia stayed with me almost through the whole day and then she left to pick up the girls and head home. I couldn't wait to go home, if this pain stops.
