"I thought Kira was getting his information from the TV and the internet," Himura said.

"That's why it's strange. These criminals' names and faces aren't known to the world. This could be a second Kira." Y/n guesses.

"The Metropolitan Police Department's case squad received a threatening letter from Kira!" Matsuda yelled as he ran in with Aizawa as the other detectives and police officers rushed to get a look at it.

"A threatening letter?" Mogi asks.

"Only the Metropolitan Police Department received it?" L asked.

"It seems the same thing was sent to the mass media," Matsuda said.

"Watari, turn on the TV." L said.

"Right away, sir," Watari said.

"The first thing we want our viewers to understand is that what we are broadcasting is genuine. A message to the world from Kira. The threatening video from someone calling themselves 'Kira' offered predictions for the day and times of death for Hioki Hatanosuke and Kawashima Sorao. Both were both arrested several days before. And then, as predicted, both died of heart attacks last night at 7."

"Only Kira could've done this. Therefore, we chose to broadcast it, under the determination that this letter was sent by Kira." The news broadcaster says.

'This is a second Kira!' Y/n's mind yelled at her. 'The first Kira would never want to draw attention to himself.'

"'I am Kira. I do not kill innocent people. I hate evil and love justice. I think of the police as my allies, not my enemies. I wish to create a world without evil. I can do this very easily if you want me to. Innocent people won't die as long as you don't try to catch me. The police and mass media should work with me to create a new world. Please answer me with a yes or no."

"If the answer is yes, then capture more criminals and announce them. We should crack down as much as possible on those who hurt others and abuse the weak, even through minor crimes. Then as proof that the police are working with me, you should put some important people in the police, as well as L and M, on TV and swear to assist Kira. I'll give you 4 days to respond.'" The newscaster says, reading off the letter.

"Put L and M on TV?" Yagami asks.

"According to the information we've just received..."

"The case squad is going to hold an emergency press conference!" Mogi shouts from the back.

"Tell them not to. The case squad will be killed by Kira." L says.

"They say they're going to be doing it with false names to be safe," Mogi adds.

"It won't work," Y/n says.

"What are you talking about?" Yagami asks as we turn our attention to the screen with the polices.

"If it's the same person who killed those criminals, they might only need the face of their victims to kill them," Y/n explained.

"Just their face?" Yagami asks.

Soon enough, the Superintendent got a heart attack.

"Don't go. I sympathize, but you must remain calm." L says to Yagami, who was at the door.

"If Kira can kill people, just by looking at them, if you go there, you'll suffer the same fate."

"Sayu..." Yagami says, going outside to talk to his daughter as L changed the screen to view the footage from the CCTVs that were still in their home.

"I'm watching TV," Sayu says.

"Don't you see now? Everyone here is innocent! Let's remove the cameras." Mogi says.
