Our staycation is short but fun. Everyone enjoyed the beach lalo na ang Mommy ni Paul. Paul asked if he can attend a friend's party in BGC. Pumayag naman ako pero hindi na ako sumama. I want to rest and he said that it's just dinner and 2 bottles.

Inayos ko na ang gamit namin pagdating namin sa condo. Nagbihis lang si Paul, at umalis na rin siya agad. I decided to wash our used clothes para hindi kami matambakan ng damit. I stopped ng may makapa ako sa isa sa mga shorts ni Paul, it was the shorts that he was wearing yesterday.

I saw a crystal box in his pocket. It's a ring. Was he trying to propose to me when we were under the water? Is that the reason why he held my hand and looked at me? Ibinalik ko yung ring sa pocket ng shorts niya. Hindi ko na sinama sa mga lalabhan ko yung shorts na yun.

It's almost 10pm pero wala pa si Paul. Hindi pa rin mawala sa isip ko yung nakita ko sa bulsa niya. I decided to browse on my phone. Pag open ko mg facebook, I saw a post of their friend. My eyes widened when I saw Paul in between Mara and Maxine. Naka akbay si Paul kay Mara and Maxine is hugging him from the back.

"Congratulations, Mara! You're now officially a doctor!"

So the dinner was for Mara, she passed the Physician Licensure Examination. Pero bakit kailangan naka yakap si Maxine sa boyfriend ko? Paul knows that I am jealous of Maxine. But why? Is he mad at me?

After a few minutes, dumating na rin si Paul. He's not drunk but I know nakainom siya. He came to me and kissed me on my cheek. "I bought you pizza and pasta." he told me habang pinapakita sa akin ang binili niyang pasta for me.

Hindi ako nakibo, naghahalo ang inis ko kay Maxine at pag aalala ko sa nararamdaman niya. "Do you want to join me?" I asked him. Umupo na kami sa breakfast table, "How's the dinner?" I asked.

"It was fun. Mara is now a doctor. She passed the boards." he said and took a bite from my pizza. I don't know how to open up my feelings to him. I was about to talk when he started talking again, "The food was good. We should eat there some time."

I just gave him a nod. He went to bed already and fell asleep. Ako, eto hindi makatulog kakaisip sa mga nakita ko ngayong gabi. Why am I still bothered by Maxine? Paul was right when he confronted me about her. He chose me. He's with me. Wala akong dapat ikaselos.

We woke up at 6am, naunang magising si Paul. He prepared our breakfast but we decided na baunin na lang sa office dahil malelate kami. Sunod sunod ang meeting ni Paul today. It's a busy day for him kaya hindi namin siya kasabay mag lunch.

"Lia, did you saw Paul's photo last night with Maxine?" tanong sa akin ni Kazel habang kumakain kami.

"Yup. I saw it. It's okay. They're friends." I told them and gave them a short smile.

"You're not good at lying." Ganiel added. "What's the problem?" nakatingin silang lahat sa akin and by this time alam ko, hindi na ako pwedeng mag sinungaling.

"I saw a ring on Paul's pocket. Yung shorts na suot niya nung nag snorkling kami. He did not proposed to me." I answered them.

"Did you gave him any reason not to?" tanong ni Valerie.

"I told him na wag siya mapagod hintayin ako. That's it. Sinabihan ko siya the day before na hintayin niya akong maging ready sa mga bagay bagay." I told them.
