Chapter 23: Epilogue [fate]

Y/n POV

It's been weeks since the holy grail war, the Mage's association fixed up the school, and covered up the fact that anything happened. I was walking to school when I was stopped by Azaka she said "hey Y/n! Did you finish that... business... are you okay?" I said "of course I am... I just... didn't get enough sleep, but yeah I finished with my business I'll be back at the club after break." She said "good to hear well I gotta go see ya!"

Timeskip

I walked by the student council office and saw Kokutou talking with Shiki and I said "hey guys, having a lover's quarrel?" Kokutou said "it's not like that man... anyway nice job with the grail war." I said "thanks I guess... I uh gotta go... see ya."

I walked up to the roof and saw patty waiting for me. She said "hey there. I'm sorry about what happened." I said "no need to after all you weren't responsible." She said "but still I feel like I could've done something."

I said "you couldn't after all I was the only one capable of defeating him and the only one capable of saving him and saving Saber so it was all my fault really. You know I've been thinking more about what Avenger said and he might have been right about the fact that I'm another one of his incarnations just another person in this endless cycle of dying and reincarnating into a new life full of suffering and there's nothing I can do about it. Think about it my origin story is a mix between Kiritsugu's and Avenger's I'm destined to just suffer more and more."

Patty said "come on you know as well as I do that, that's complete and utter bullshit." I said "no you don't after all you know nothing about me. I'm gonna leave now... see ya around Lowell."

Redgrave POV

I was in unlimited demonic works angry at the fact that I failed at stopping my upbringing and Alaya showed up and said "well well well look who lost the bet." I said "you rigged that one Alaya!!! You messed with my memories before and after you sent me there I could remember every detail of what happened back then, but the moment I got there, there were lapses in my memory I couldn't remember some of the important parts! I want a redo!"

She said "fine this time I will have no intervention... you have two more shots you only have to succeed in one of them, but they won't be in your timeline." I said "deal, but I only need one." Alaya said "I'm not so sure about that, but feel free to prove me wrong... Archer..."
