Colby and Rebecca entered his car. He started the engine and they both put on their seat belts.

"Where to drive?"

"I want to go home." She answered calmly. She rested her head on the glass and closed her eyes. As naive as it was, she secretly still hoped that when she opened her eyes, the last week had been a nightmare.

„Okay." She didn't answer him. He just thought that she had nothing to say to him. To cheer up the situation, he decided to turn on the music. Turning his head to the radio, his gaze fell on her. "She's probably asleep." he thought about it and gave up his intention to let her rest. When they were very close to her home, she broke the silence:

"May I ask you something?"

„Of course." He smiled, but didn't take his eyes off the road.

"Can ... will you take me to the cemetery? You know that I was not able to visit Luke's grave..." she didn't finish her sentence. She didn't want him to feel guilty. He was just doing his job.

"Okay, no problem." Silence reigned in the car again.

Rebecca got out of the car. Colby did the same. He wasn't sure what to do. To follow her or not. "Perhaps she wants to be alone with his fiance. Or does she want someone to be there for support? But she doesn't want it to be me."

She took a few steps away from him. When she felt that he was not next to her, she turned. No words were needed to understand each other. Her eyes said everything. There was a sadness mixed with fear. "Perhaps I have no right to be here. But I want to say goodbye. He will understand..."she felt his hand on her shoulder. It was enough to bring her back to reality and inspire her with courage.

"Shall we go?" she nodded. They walked close together, their hands lightly touching. She read Luke's name on one of the tombstones. She stopped, the blood in her veins freezing. She knew that her fiance was dead, but seeing his grave with her own eyes made it even more real, painfully real. She took a deep breath, her eyes filled with tears. She took a few more steps and put her hand on the cold marble. Colby stepped back, not wanting to intrude. It was a difficult time for her, but she had to face the reality to move on. She squatted down and began to whisper "I'm Sorry ... I didn't want this to happen..." there were more and more tears, and the lump in her throat was making it difficult for her to speak properly. "...I wanted to protect you... I did not... I didn't tell you because I thought you were safe... I hope one day you will forgive me..." that was the moment when she broke down. She dropped to her knees and pressed her forehead against the cold stone. It was as cold as Luke's body had been when she'd kissed him for the last time. Colby broke down and ran to her. He went down too, and she put her head in his neck. He put his arms around her and began to whisper beautiful things to her.

"Come on, let's take you home." He got up and helped her. She hugged him again, he put his arm around her waist, and they both began to walk to the car. He didn't like to see people suffer. And he felt guilty because he was the reason she couldn't even bury her fiance. Her phone rang. She wiped her eyes and picked it up.

"Ashley."

"Where are you, Rebecca, Manuel and I were at the station, but they told us that you were free and you came home. I was at your house, and now I'm at home ... you're nowhere to be found."

"I'm coming to you, don't worry, I'm fine."

"I'm waiting for you."

"Could you take me to Ashley's instead. I know I went too far..." he interrupted her.

"No you don't, but I don't know where your friend lives."

"I'll explain.... Thank you very much, agent Lopez... for everything."

"I didn't do anything. Actually, I stopped you from attending the funeral...."

"You was just doing your job. I understand."

That night at Colby's house. Dinner had just ended, and they were both sitting on the couch watching Netflix.

"Lacey, can we talk?"

"Oh, that doesn't sound very good. Lacey instead of little pumpkin ... where I screwed up."

"Nowhere Minion," he laughed, and then his face became serious again."...I have something to tell you. Something I've been hiding from you and from all these years. But it's time to tell you." He took her hanf in his.

"I'm listening."

"That night I saw who killed our father..."

"What?" her jaw dropped to the floor.

"I'll explain, just don't interrupt me. The man who killed our father. He, he had approached him, but he was not holding the knife. The knife moved itselfs, and I thought I was going crazy. The police didn't find any prints not because the bastard was wearing gloves, but because he didn't hold a knife. I turned away for a moment, and when I looked at him again, he was gone. It was as if he had disappeared. I didn't tell anyone because no one would believe me."

"Then why are you telling me now?"

"I think I've met someone who knows a lot more than he's letting on."

"Who?"

"Rebecca Quinn, fiancee of one of the victims. I heard her say that she was sorry, that she wanted to protect her fiance. Maybe she doesn't talk either, because she's afraid of what I'm afraid of, Lacey...."

Meanwhile

"You mean you had a vision today?" Becky nodded "and you saw agent Lopez's father get killed."

"There was the demon Ashley, I saw it. I don't know who he was, but he was there."

"Okay... but since when do you see the past?" the blonde asked confused.

"I don't know Ashley. I don't know."

Okay, I wasn't sure what can I said as a messege to everyone, who read this chapter, so i will say this.

When I started with Wattpad and my fics I wasn't sure if this is a good idea. Now I know it was one of the best decision, I ever did. Here I met amazing people, with some of them I became closer. I didn't know their real names, I just know that they are BrollinsFan, brollinsfan2003 and mondaynightbrollins. I didn't give a damn from where they are. What is their mother language, their religion.  They liked the same thing as me, so I asked them if they wanted to be my friend. And they agreed. Slowly we became closer. And I love them so freaking much 💕. I don't give a damn that they live in three different continents. They always respect me and love me. That's my case. The only thing that is Matter is if they are a good person. Nothing much.
So I wanted to tell them I love them with all of my heart 💜💚🖤💙❤️💛
Love each other ❤️. Love is only thing that can save us.
