Colby's POV

There is no day where I don't think about Rebecca - everything reminds me of her and the mistake I did. She told me her biggest secret, and I couldn't justify her trust. I ran away like a coward instead of listening to her and supporting her. What kind of friend am I, what kind of man am I? I told her I would help her, that I would be there for her, and I didn't keep my word. I remember our conversation that night at her house, after we had dinner together. I remember her tears and the pain in her voice when she explained to me that even Luke didn't know. She trusted me enough to tell me the truth, and I screwed it up. I didn't just destroy the relationship between us, but I may have lost my chance to catch this beast. She's the only person who knows what's going on and can help me. So I decided to go to her and ask her forgiveness. I want her back in my life, she's my friend, and I want her to be something else ... I think I'm in love with her. I stopped in front of her house and got out of my car. I can't hide the fact that I'm nervous. What if she doesn't want to see me? Maybe she even hates me ... I wouldn't blame her. I rang the bell and waited. Soon the door opened and I saw her.

"Colby?" she said, obviously surprised.

"Can we talk?"

"I don't know if this is a good idea." she tried to close the door, but I stopped her.

"Please, I came to apologize." her features softened , and she stepped back.

"You have 5 minutes." we both went inside, but this time she wasn't sitting next to me on the couch, but on one stool on the other side of a low table. "I'm listening."

"How's your arm?" this was one of the questions that tormented me the most during the time when I wasn't with her.

"Better, thank you." She smiled slightly.

"Bex, I'm so sorry about that day... yes, I was surprised, even shocked, by what you said, but nothing can justify my actions."

"I accept your apology. If that's all...?"

"No, I want to know."

"I don't understand you?"

"Tell me what you wanted to tell me that day. Give me a second chance, give us a second chance."

"There is no us Colby, it was a mistake." She looked away from me.

"Then why don't you look me in my eyes."

"You came to apologize and you did it. Now go away!" she stood up.

„You're the only one who can stop him. Please let me help you. His behavior confused me. Why did he start killing in a week? I don't understand anything." She sat down again and thought about it.

"Why are you so insistent?"

"Because I want to correct my mistake, I want to prove to you that you can trust me, I want these murders to stop once and for all."

„Well. I'll tell you everything I know, but you won't ask questions, just listen."

"Deal."

"When the world was created, the angels ruled over everything visible and invisible. Seven of them were called Archangels, they were the most powerful beings and had power over heaven, hell and Earth. They chose to live in Heaven, so four of their children were sent to Earth, and the other four to hell. As the time went by the parents began to avoid the four angels sent to guard hell. They thought that their children might listen to the words of the souls of men sent for eternal punishment in hell, and one day they would rebel. They were forbidden to leave the Underworld. By branding them with the greek letter Ω, It was able to syphon enough energy so that it was serval centuries of imprisonment for them at the very least. What the archangels feared  happened. One day the angels banished to Hell managed to get out and began to sow death and destruction. People called them the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. They declared war on their parents. The archangels realized their mistake, but it was too late. The Four were the first demons, they were demons of the first order. They opened the gates of Hell and set the souls free. They were second-order demons. The archangels and Angels knew that if they could defeat the four rebels, the world would be saved. And so it happened. The angels managed to return the four to hell and lock the gates. To protect people from the souls released, the Angels gave strength to one of the people ... witches and witchers. They were mortals, but they knew the nature of demons and how to deal with them. Some weaker demons can be killed, but others can't. They can be returned to hell. The witches owned dagers, whose blades were soaked in the blood of fallen angels in the Great battle. Some jewels were enchanted and given to witches to protect them. Freddie, the killer you're looking for, is a child of one of those who escaped from Hell centuries ago. The ring he wears allows him to steal other people's powers. But there is something else in him. He's stronger than anyone I've ever met. I think he's the child of one of the Four, but I don't know... no one ever said that one of the Four had a child." She paused and looked at me.

„Wow... this's really unbelievable."

"Now you know everything, this is the moment when you get up and leave."

"I won't leave you again. I'm here, and I'll help you in any way I can. If you want, I'll even show you the evidence in the case ... I'll do whatever you say."

Noone's POV

"Who are you and why did you bring us here?" a young blond man asked. At that moment, in front of a group of men and women, Freddie took on his true appearance for the first time in years. "Magnus?" the blond man asked again. He seemed to be the leader.

"Who did you expect? The tooth fairy?"he laughed.

"What do you want?"

"A good way to meet one of the first! Don't they teach you manners?"

"With all due respect, Magnus, you've been gone for almost ten years. Everything has changed. I'm the leader now."

"Young and bold, I like you. You remind me of myself."

"Cut the bullshit, why are you here?"

"On the next full moon, the true demon leader will return, my brother Azazel."

"Really? The one who, with his sick ambition, created our ideal enemy, half demon, half witch? And then he couldn't kill her!" a blond man was shouting.

"Don't raise your voice at me! He was trying to find a way to free the Four. She's strong enough to do it."

"We will not participate in this! He's crazy if there's a chance he'll kill us all just to rule the world." Magnus raised his hand and pointed his ring at the blond man. The red ring began to glow and squeeze the strength and life of the blond man, leaving only a pile of ashes.

"Does anyone else mind?" everyone was silent and looked at the ground. "I thought so."
