Colby ran like a madman through the corridors of the police station. Something inside him told him to run as fast as he could without stopping. He saw what happened 12 years ago. He couldn't make that mistake again. He couldn't let that happen. His colleagues who had the misfortune to be in his way, he pushed without even thinking about it. Something is wrong with Sammy's actions. Why would he bring Rebecca to the interrogation room when her innocence was proven? When he opened the door, his blood froze. Rebecca tried to fight the red-haired man who was violently choking her. Colby pulled out his gun and pointed it at his colleague, shouting, "Stop!"

"Let her go!" Sammy looked at him, there was a sinister smile on his face. There was no sign of the third person scaring him. "I said Let her go! Don't try my patience!"

"It won't help you, and she knows it, look, she even stopped fighting me. He gave up. I won." He didn't realize that at this moment Rebecca was remembering what her mother had teach her. The gun went off. Sammy's bleeding out. Colby's sight never betrayed him. Right in the heart. "But what the hell", he thought. The man didn't flinch, despite the bullet. At that moment, a quartz locket appeared in Rebecca's hand. Freddie screamed in pain.

"Bitch" Sammy's Body was finally free, there wasn't rage in his eyes, the smile was gone from his face. The only thing he could say was, "I'm sorry". But it was too late for him. His lifeless body crashed down on Rebecca, who could barely keep her consciousness. Colby ran to her and moved the body of his dead colleague. He hugged the frightened woman. She could barely breathe. The assailant hands were printed on her neck.

"Are you all right?" he anxiously asked and pushed back a lock of hair about her face. He didn't realize that the two of them had more to do with each other than just getting to know each other. Their past was intertwined. What had been in Colby's mind was now clear to her.

It was just dawn, when Colby was returning from a party. Lacey decided to spend the night with a friend. Their father was asleep in his room when there was a noise downstairs. An elderly man came down to check what was going on. He went carefully down the stairs. There was a light in the kitchen. He was sure that last night, when she went to bed, she was switched it off. As he neared the light, he saw a shadow. Colby had forgotten his keys again, and in order not to wake his father, he decided to see if he could get in through one of the windows. Walking around the house, he reached the kitchen. When he looked inside, the view was terrifying. His father lay on the floor, a stranger with a half-disfigured face standing next to his body, stabbing again and again at the already lifeless body of Lopez Sr. Colby didn't move. Fear gripped him and wouldn't let him move. After he opened his eyes again, the other man was gone, and Colby didn't hear any footsteps. And when he smashed the glass door to get inside, the alarm went off.

End of flashback

Rebecca had never experienced anything like this before, as if it was happening right in front of her eyes. She gave up and closed her eyes.

When Becky opened her eyes again and looked around, she was confused. Where is she? This doesn't look like a hospital room? Who is this woman next to her?

"Miss Quin ..." the woman with short black hair smiled."... how do you feel?"

"I ..." her voice was barely audible, more of a whisper "... water, please. " the brunette got up to pour her a glass of water, then carefully handed it to her.

"Slowly"

"Where am I?"

"In agent Lopez's office, I'm Pamela."

"My head is spinning."

"This is normal, due to lack of oxygen."

"Why am I here?"

"Agent Lopez brought you here, and since I'm a doctor, we thought I could see you, too."

"Where is he?"

"Outside, if you want, I'll call him."

„Please."

"Now I'll go look for him, I'll be there if you need me." She smiled. Pamela didn't usually smile. All the years spent in the morgue had made her feel the cold personality she had at the moment.

Rebecca sat alone in the room for a while after she heard a knock on the door. "Enter." Colby came into the room and walked over to her. She began to straighten slightly.

"Let me help you." The two sat next to each other.

„Thank you." She looked into his eyes.

"This is not necessary. I'm the one who should apologize. I shouldn't have sent someone else, I should have done my job myself. I wouldn't forgive myself if an innocent man died because of me." Her heart was breaking because she knew the truth. Sammy was innocent. The bullet couldn't have killed Freddie. But how could she explain it? "How are you?"

"Better." She smiled faintly.

"I just want to know one thing. How did this medallion... " he showed the jewel in his hand" „ended up with you?" after what she'd seen a few minutes ago, Becky knew that he'd met magic before, even if he didn't know it. She wasn't sure she could trust him, but she decided to shoot.

"Some things can't be explained, agent Lopez. They just happen. Just like I know what happened years ago, that night in your house with your father. I know you saw it, but you didn't tell anyone because you were afraid of how people would react. Will they believe you? Will you be charged?" he sat there and just stared at her. Words didn't exist for him. He didn't know what to say or do. How did she know?

"Can I go?" she asked and stood up. He got rid of what had happened and stood up, too.

„Of course. I'll drive you."

Meanwhile

Ashley and Manuel's lunch went really good. They both remembered the past and the follies they had done together. The two of them were laughing at these stupid teenagers. After they finished eating, they decided to take a walk in a nearby park. They sat on a bench and continued their conversation.

"I remember when I hit him, you told me that he was following you." They laughed again.

"I still can't believe you did it."

"You know I care about you " He looked into her eyes, Not understanding how their lips met in a long, passionate kiss. She pulled away first.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done this."

"No, it's my fault. Let's just forget about it. Your boyfriend won't like that I kissed you."

"I don't have a boyfriend, but that's not a problem, Mannu. I just don't want a relationship."

Okay." He looked at the ground.

"Hey ..." she lifted his chin with her thumb "... You're wonderful, really. It's just not the time. She stood up "Come on, we're so screwed, Besk's waiting for us."
