"Could you repeat that... again?" Colby couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"I know you don't believe in such things, but it's true. You can use it to find anyone you want. Theoretically." Lacey explained calmly.

"This case seems to me more and more complicated ... " he took a deep breath and let it out.

"Wait, is this related to that madman who kills every Saturday night?"

"I'm not allowed to discuss the investigation, and you know it."

"You's already done it..." she looked at it and put her hands on the table "... why don't you show me the original, maybe I can help."

"First, no, it's against the rules, and second, I won't put you in such danger."

"But..." he held up a hand to signal her to stop.

"We will not discuss this, the subject is closed" he said unflinchingly and got up from the table.

Colby spent the next two days trying to find something new that might lead him to the culprit. It was as if he was invisible. There were no prints or signs of his presence at any of the crime scenes. It was impossible to kill a man in such a cruel way without smearing him with blood. At the very least, there must have been traces of his soles soaked in the blood of his victims. Nothing, like he was chasing a Ghost. What his sister had told him bothered him. What did Rebecca have to do with the occult, why did she lied to him about the notebook, what was she hiding? All questions are unanswered. It's Saturday. Time was working against Colby, and he knew it. Worst of all, he could only wait ... and it was killing him.

"Agent Lopez, this is my autopsy report on Mr. Luke Sanders. I called his fiancee, and they're coming tomorrow from the funeral home. Sign here." She gave him the documents. Medical Examiner Pamela Martinez worked for the FBI for five years. She had short black hair. She did not like to communicate with her colleagues and sometimes behaved very rudely. But her professional qualities were undeniable.

"Thank you, Pamela " he smiled and handed the folder back to her.

The search for Rebecca was also unsuccessful. She tried everything she could, and there were times when she thought about using black magic. But she always stopped. How would she be different from Freddie and any other demon if she sacrificed an innocent life to achieve her goals? The worst thing about black magic was that she couldn't even control it. Days and nights merged for her. She rarely slept, and Ashley begged her to eat. Luke's death had robbed her of the desire to live. Guilt was destroying her. The "what if" question... " didn't leave her alone. Today, she and Ashley went to the two ends of the city. The plan was to cover as much of the perimeter as possible. Whoever finds it first will call the other one. For an hour, both watched as the pendulum simply swung across the map, feeling no evil presence. The first one to do it was Becky. Freddy was around the main city street. He liked the whole cat-and-mouse game with the authorities. He felt untouchable and became more and more defiant. From the murders in the suburbs, he now chose a busy place. Yes, there weren't many people at night, but the bars and some convenience stores were still open. And people were afraid to go out on Saturday night. Everyone knew that this was the time of the murders. For five months, the number of corpses was 16.

On the way to her goal, Rebecca also called her friend. When she parked near the pedestrian zone, Becky almost immediately got out of the car and started running. When she arrived, it was too late again. In one of the alleys, clumsily hidden in the bushes, lay the body of a woman who had already lost the battle for her life. She went over and checked for a pulse, nothing ... Freddie was faster than her again. She failed again. She felt unable to hold back her tears. After a few minutes, she regained consciousness and returned to her car.

August 23 was a day that Rebecca couldn't imagine any time soon ... Luke's funeral. The black dress reflected her emotional state. Emptiness... there was no love left in her, no strength left, even the tears had stopped. What kept her alive was her desire for revenge. It was the only thing that mattered to her. In her heart of hearts, she hoped that this way Luke would forgive her for all the lies and for not being able to protect Him.

Rebecca kissed him one last time. She took his cold, lifeless hand and put the his ring back on. She didn't know if she had any right to do that, after what had happened, or if it was too selfish of her. But to her, the ring was his. There would always be a place for him in her heart, even if it caused her endless pain. Luke was the first person she trusted. For the first time in her life, she felt loved and wanted. He made her feel like a WOMAN.

Agent Lopez, accompanied by Joe and two other agents, entered the Church at the same time. They walked over to Rebecca. Who didn't seem like herself. The funeral procession began. Colby grabbed her arm and asked her to move away. He didn't want to make a scene inside the Church.

"Miss Quinn, I want to ask you if this is your locket?"

For the past two days, she had tried unsuccessfully to find her quartz necklace, and now that it was in FBI agent, she didn't understand what was going on.

"Yes, I lost it a few days ago."

"In the Swan Park, next to the body of Anetta Larson." He took a deep breath "Ms. Quin, you're under arrest." He pulled out the handcuffs and put her hands behind her back.".. You have the right to remain silent, and anything you say may be used against you."

It was like a cold shower for her. She suddenly realized how careless she had been, and how her hatred had made it difficult for her to think clearly. But was it too late...

A/N Words can't describe how happy am I for both Becky and Seth. They will be amazing parents. But a little part of me it's sad, because we will not see THE MAN BECKY LYNCH for a while. She was my inspiration, the reason I started writing. Because of her I started to believe in myself. She proved that everything is possible if you believe in your dreams and work hard to achieve them. Thank you so much, Becky Lynch. I wish you all good. For me you will be always G.O.A.T.

I know it's been a little whaile since my last update and I'm so sorry. I have to fight with my own demons. Here is a new chapter, if you like it please voted. Tell me what do you think in the comments bellow. How you're feeling about the news for baby Brollins?

Love you all.
