"Do you have a phone Carol? I just realized I don't have your phone number after all that we have been through" I asked curiously as the bus juggled up and down on the dark road. Usually I don't ask it in this style because the friends around me have a decent amount of money from their family but for Carol, I realized that she is not like most of my friends and so I did not ask her for her phone number first, just in case she doesn't have a phone.

She shook her head and sent me a note. No I don't, I don't really have a lot of money to afford a phone. I need to make sure my family can eat and have shelter. I nodded at her note. I knew it. I sighed heavily as I took her hands and kept it in my chest. A moment later I replied. "That's dangerous Carol, what if you were kidnapped and no one knows where you are?"

If I am kidnapped I could not even use my phone, I believe kidnappers are not that stupid. She pulled out her tongue. I replied defensively. "A phone has a GPS feature, wherever you are, your friends can track you. And of course, prevent another damsel-in-distress situation" She pouted while trying to think of an argument against mine. "Look Carol, you need to have a phone." I tried convincing her again.

It's not that I don't want to have one... It's just... as I have said, money is a problem for me. I looked at her. "Alright Carol, have it on me. I am buying you a phone" Her eyes is wide open as she is writing another note to me. No you... you can't do that! It's too expensive. "Not as expensive as losing the love of my life" She jolted immediately from that statement.

"Look, my uncle is a manager dealing with the phone business, I can get you one for free" She shook her head again, as if emphasising that she does not need one. I don't want to owe you too much, I have not done anything and yet you're doing so much for me? I am just afraid that I could not pay you back everything. I understand her point of view. But this is not the time to be humble and modest.

"Carol" I hold her hands tighter. "Just the fact that you have accepted me as your boyfriend and the fact that you are here with me holding my hands right now, you have already done your part as my girlfriend." She looked at me with teary eyes. "I don't need much from you. You are already perfect for me" We got closer and closer until eventually our lips are almost touching. I pulled back at the perfect moment just to see Carol with a confused look on her face.

She hide back her emotions in her shell and retracted her face back as we kept on talking about the phone. "So..." I cleared my throat. "About the phone." I looked at her again and now she is pouting, maybe from the fact that I pulled away my face before we both kissed. "I will teach you how to use it, because... I expect that you don't know what a touchscreen is do you?" She shook her head while pouting. "Alright, I wi—. Argh!" Carol squeezed my hands softly as she folded her arms and looked in front.

Guess she is still thinking of the kiss. "What's that for?" I smiled at her. She gives me a note without looking or turning her body. You know it yourself. Don't ask silly questions! Guess she is really angry about it huh. I smiled at her, still looking as innocent as I possibly can. "No I don't, can you tell me?" I replied innocently. She ignored my question and kept looking in front. "Carol... Princess Anna... you there?" I waved my hands in front of her face. She kept pouting.

There's only one thing left to do now. I slide my hands on her back as I brought myself closer to her. She slowly faced me as her facial expressions transitioned from cold to warm. I put my other hand on her face and brought her closer to me. "Will you not regret it? Doing it with me?" I asked her as we both got closer and closer. She shook her head slightly with her mouth agape. Her starry eyes sparkled literally with lustrous tears

I wiped her glossy lips with my thumb and teased her a little as she put both her hands on my neck. We both came closer with each other until our foreheads are touching. Time seems to stand still again, as if mimicking the first time we made eye contact in the hallway. I could faintly smell jasmine on her face again. I could feel her little rounded spectacles touching the bridge of my nose.
