Alanna Sky Bauer

The sun was setting filling the house with a bright orange color, reminding us that the day is almost over. I walked Astrid to the door as she bid her goodbye.

"See you tomorrow" said Astrid hesitantly walking away

"See you" I replied smiling at her

She stopped on her tracks before turning around.

"What's wrong?" I asked

Astrid walked back towards me and gave me a kiss on the cheek, she smiled at me before speaking

"I'll get going for real, see you tomorrow" Astrid stated before finally walking to her car.

She waved goodbye her smile plastered on her face before heading inside the vehicle, then there I was still lost for words at what happened, I felt my cheeks getting warm as the color red painted it. My heart began beating like crazy, as I couldn't get my mind off her kiss. I felt like I was on cloud nine exploding with unfamiliar emotions. Her lips were soft feeling like a cloud touched my cheek leaving a sensation that left my body weak and making it hard for me to breathe. If a kiss on the cheek from her made me feel this way, I wonder what a kiss on the... Alanna get those thoughts off your mind. I stood outside the door for a solid minute before snapping back to my senses.

I walked back inside and closed the door behind me leaning my back against it. I'm still smiling like a fool as I put my hands on my chest. I felt my hear beating fast and beating loud, it feels like I ran a marathon, at this point my heart might explode.

For the first time, I felt pure joy in my heart, I feel like nothing could go wrong.

77th.

Kiss.

The sky turned dark as night came. I'm preparing myself for bed and drying my hair felt like forever to do. I looked at my phone and all of a sudden I was thinking of Astrid again, I haven't been able to get my mind off her after she left. My mind was going back and forth on whether I should text her or not. I kept staring at my phone until I finally decided to shrugged the thought off my mind. I headed to the lving room and turned on the TV. My eyes were focused on the drama I'm watching but my head was up in the clouds thinking of her over and over.

"This is never going to let me sleep" I whispered to myself.

I headed to the garage, locked the door, and went in my car, the gate opened as I drive my car outside. I drove to Astrid's house which was only 15 minutes away from us by car. All the way to Astrid's house all I could think about was the kiss, her, her smile, her eyes, everything about her. God I'm in love. I swore never to do these stupid things, but I guess love makes you crazy. I never thought I'd find someone that my heart would beat for.

As I park my car in front of Astrid's house I took out my phone and called her

"Hey... c-can you come out for a second?" I uttered stuttering on my words

"What? Why?" She asked bafflement evident on her voice

"Look outside" I replied

Suddenly a window opened and I saw Astrid looked outside

"What are you doing here?" Asked Astrid smiling with confusion in her voice
