"Friends na pala tayo. Hindi ako nainform."

Summer playfully rolled her eyes as I took the beer in her hand. "So much for trying to be nice. Mukha ka kasing nabagsakan ng langit at lupa, I thought maybe kailangan mo ng kausap."

I took a swing and gave her a curious look. She looked sober despite the amount of hard liquor I saw her take tonight. "Hindi ka pa lasing?"

"Ano akala mo sakin, weakshit?" tumawa siya at uminom. "I can handle my alcohol pretty well."

Tumango ako at tumigin paharap. Summer was unpredictable, that's why her alcohol tolerance was no surprise. She looked like someone who was used to the party scene, lalo na taga Manila pa siya. 

Nagulat ako ng umakyat siya sa railing at umupo sa ibabaw nito. "Hoy, mahulog ka!"

"Men fall for me, not the other way around," she smirked.

"Not in that way, crazy. I meant literally! Mamaya kapag nahulog ka dyan, isipin pa nila na pinatay kita! Wag ganun uy!"

Summer frowned at pointed to the roof beneath her. "OA neto. May bubong sa baba oh. Kapag nalaglag ako sasaluhin ako ng bubong." 

Tumingin ako sa ibaba at nakitang tama siya. Jusko, maiisip ko na talaga na may sayad sa utak 'tong babaeng 'to. Makaupo sa railing, kala mo wala sa 3rd floor! Ako pa yung natakot para sa kanya. 

"Tara, tabihan mo ako." she patted the place next to her. 

I looked at her and frowned. "Gusto ko pa mabuhay. Dito nalang ako."

"Come on! Don't be KJ." she tried to convince me. "Plus, the moon looks pretty from here. Sige na!"

I gave her a weary look, not quite sure. Sabagay, may bubong naman sa baba. Hindi ko naman siguro ikakamatay yung paghulog ko, unless na itulak ako ni Summer. Hindi niya naman siguro gagawin yun diba? Kaso nakakatakot din kasi siya, pa iba-iba yung mood. 

Umakyat ako sa railing ng dahan-dahan at tinabihan si Summer. Kapag ako talaga tinulak nito, hihilain ko siya para sumama. Magkita nalang kami sa ER, baka yung mga magulang ko pa mag-opera samin. 

"See, not so scary." She smiled and pointed at the moon. "Look, it's a full moon tonight."

"Buti hindi ka pa nagiging werewolf. Anong oras ka magtatransform?" 

Hinampas niya ako sa balikat at napakapit ako sa kinauupuan ko ng mahigpit. "Summer! Wag kase!" 

She stuck her tongue out and teased me. "Takot ka pala sa heights eh."

"Wala naman akong kinakatakutan. Maliban siguro sa palaka. Pero aside from that, I'm practically fearless." 

Summer stared at my chest and rose a brow. "Bakit basa polo mo?"

"Nabuhusan ako ng alak kanina." I chuckled and took a sip from my bottle. "Nagalit kasi sakin si Zoe." 

"Huh, parang kanina lang naghahalikan kayo sa taas ah."

I narrowed my eyes teasingly. "Paano mo alam yun? Stalker ka ba?"

"You are so full of yourself." She scoffed and gulped down her beer. "Napalingon lang ako sa taas. You guys were practically about make babies up there."

I chuckled. "We would have if she wasn't so drunk. The girl could barely stand on her own two feet. I had to say no." 

"Kaya ba siya nagalit? Dahil lang dun?" tanong niya. 

I shook my head. "Hindi lang naman dahil dun. She wanted a relationship. I couldn't give it to her."

"Ouch. Rejected si ate girl." Summer put a hand to her chest, pretending it pained her. "I guess she didn't take it well."
