I never was, and never will be, a morning person.
I tried to force a smile when I saw Chelsea waving goodbye before entering her friend's house. Once she was escorted inside, my lips fell and let out a sigh. I was forced to drive her to her play date since neither my mom or dad came home last night.
That's why I'm out and awake at 7:30 in the morning.
Marcus yawned into the phone, halatang bagong gising pa lang. "Bakit ang aga mo mag-aya?"
"Bili na, damayan niyo ako." I pleaded desperately.
"Pass ako." sagot ni Austin. "May pupuntahan ako mamaya."
I sighed in disappointment. "Sayang naman. Ikaw nalang Marcus."
"Pass din muna, pre." Marcus turned down. "Bebe time mamaya eh, sorry."
"Ano ba yan! Akala ko ba tropa bago jowa?" reklamo ko. "Ganyan na pala kayo sakin. Kapag ako inaaya niyo, lagi akong libre! Tapos kapag ako yung nag-aya, busy? Lugi ako ah!"
Tumawa si Marcus. "Wala ka kasi jowa. 'Di ka makarelate."
"Ah sige. Salamat sa paalala." I rolled my eyes at the insult.
Austin suggested.
"Ayoko nga! Wala na ako pera!" tanggi ko. "Tsaka wala ako sa mood."
Marcus playfully gasped at faked his shock.
"What a miracle." nakisama sa pang-aasar si Austin.
I frowned deeply at their amusement.
That was okay I guess, I'll probably figure out something to do. I decided to go to the nearest coffee shop to get a drink. Ayoko na uli matulog sa bahay, I hated being unproductive. Sayang yung araw.
I decided to order a large Caffe Mocha and waited for my order on the side. My foot impatiently tapped on the wooden floor while waiting.
"One regular coffee please, take-out." a familiar voice spoke.
My eyes glanced to where the voice came from. To my surprise, I saw Summer at the counter. Her hair was in a ponytail, but there were a few strands of hair falling to her face.
I slowly walked up behind her as she tapped away on her phone, still clueless.
