Here I am in Branwell's books again, sitting behind the counter. Surprisingly, I wasn't in a mood to read. As usual, a few customers come in, browse and buy.

I was in middle of a dream when I was interrupted.

Jem, who's shift just ended, took a chair and sat before me. He studied me and asked, "Something's bothering you. What is it?"

I blinked. Am I really that open?

I shook my head. "I really don't believe you." He said.

I huffed. "It's just that I was at Bane's Boutique and Magnus tried to change my mind by showing me a beautiful dress. And now I'm having doubts about my decision."

"Why won't you go?"

I shrugged. "Don't know. It's just...." Miranda-dresses- meeting people-Will. Especially Will."Ugh...Can we talk about something else?"

"Fine, what do you want to talk about?" He asked.

Should I ask him? Will he think it's obvious?

"So....what.....uh.....Will?" Pretty sure I squeaked.

Jem seemed to be trying to controlling his laughter, but failed. He doubled over and I was pretty sure he was gonna fall of the chair.

"What?" I asked.

He still continued. "What's funny?"

Still laughter. "James!" I practically yelled.

"I'm alright." He finally gathered himself.

"What's funny?" I asked more firmly.

He replied, "It's just that Will also asked about you to me. And now your asking about him to me."

I blinked. Why the hell would Will ask about me?

"When?"

"After the first time you met, here." Jem continued, "We were on our way to meet our friends. He had the book you gave him."

"What did you tell him?"

"Just that why your working here, and why you love books and other things." He said. I just nodded.

"Tessa dear, how are you?" I turned around and saw Charlotte Branwell coming out from her office.

Charlotte is the owner of Branwell's books. She is a short and petite woman whose married to Henry Branwell. She is also a distant relative of Clary.

"I'm fine Charlotte." I replied.

"Good to hear, so you-" she was interrupted by Henry.

"Lottie, the new shipment of books are here." He called out.

"Ah...yes. Jem can you help me with those?"

"Of course." He said. I stood up.

"Stay here. There are some customers here" I nodded and sat down again.

Soon the shop was empty without customers. I could hear Jem and Charlotte sorting the new books. Maybe I should help them.

The door opened and Will came in. My breath hitched. Why? Because he seemed like he was gonna kill someone. Then he spotted me and started to walk towards me.

His eyes were red anger and not a trace of the Will who sat next to me in the window still.

I looked around for Jem, but he was still in the office. I touched my clockwork angel nervously.

Will came over and dropped a book before me. The cover read: Pride and Prejudice.

I slowly stood up.
