I quickly wiped away my tears. "N-nothing! Why are you here?"

He swallowed some more food and grinned. "Bill gave me a ticket too. I just hate the fact that everyone keeps giving me weird looks."

I nod in agreement. "Look at you! You look like a hobo."

He coughed. "You don't look any better!"

I laughed and so did Green. He karate-chopped my head gently.

"There's the smile that should always be there."

I blushed and turned away from him. "A-anyway what do you want?"

He smirked and backed away, leaving a good amount of space between us.

"Let's battle! You've had to have gotten stronger since our first battle!" He exclaimed.

I sighed but agreed. I knew we were stronger, but how strong were we compared to Green? He's always been one step ahead of me, and he obliterated Haru and me.

I shook off the feeling of doubt and accepted his challenge. He had sent out Pidgeotto, so I chose to send out Osore.

Our birds glared at one another for a few seconds before I called Osore to attack. Even if our two Pokémon were both flying types, Osore was a formidable opponent.

His Aerial Ace knocked Green's Pidgeotto straight out of the sky, but not long enough for Green to counterattack us.

Pidgeotto only used Tackle, but it was enough for Osore to collapse to the ground. I clenched my fists while Osore slowly started to fly again, I knew we couldn't beat Green, but I refused to give up.

"Aerial Ace!"

Osore felt my determination and quickly pulled a fast one over Pidgeotto. It was able to avoid a critical injury, but it's wing was clipped.

I saw Green hesitate, and I snatched the opportunity to attack again. "Peck!"

Osore charged with all his might and stabbed Pidgeotto right in the chest. It cawed loudly as it fell to the ground, and I hugged Osore but he appeared exhausted.

He collapsed right after defeating Pidgeotto, but I was proud to call him my Pokémon. I called Osore back and pecked his pokéball.

"Good job, Osore. Take a long rest for your hard work." I mumbled, grabbing Spike's pokéball.

Green sent out his Raticate, I knew this would be an easy victory.

"Poison Sting!"

Spike's horn started to glow a light purple, and it shot right at Raticate. Green flinched as Raticate started swinging around. He started fumbling around his pockets, but he only worriedly stared at his Pokémon.

"Tch... Hyper Fang!" Green shouted, still digging in his pocket.

Green's reaction made me realize that I had poisoned his Pokémon. I immediately felt a stab of guilt, but the reason for my guilt was because I was guaranteed to win this battle.

However, Raticate refused to go down without a fight. It's fangs chopped down on Spike's ear, Spike let out an ear-piercing screech. Spike shook off the pain rather quickly and waited for my call.

"Double Kick!"

Spike lunged at Raticate, his legs jamming into the large rats' side. A loud crack was soon heard as it landed on the ground, my heart sank but Green just called his Pokémon back.
