"You're not going anywhere"

The AMA's are today! The best part of today is that Camila said that I can come with them!

Right now, we're sitting in the hotel room waiting to leave. I'm so bored, so I decide to ask Camila for my phone. She gives me it and I sit on the couch while the other girls are on the bed. After about five minutes, I get a text from my cousin. She said, "Hey Sky, you need to come back home."

I'm not sure if I should respond because I know I'll get in trouble for texting, but it's my cousin. They'll understand, right?

I text her "Why?" 

"Your brother's in the hospital."

"What?! Why? What happened?" I text sitting up

"He got in a car accident."

"Is it serious?"

"His condition is, but the doctors said he's stable for now."

"Okay, I want to come. Let me ask."

I set my phone down on the couch. Then I walk to the bed slowly. 

"Can I..." I say quietly, but still grabbing the attention of the girls. 

"'Can I', what?" Ally asks a bit suspiciously 

"Can I go back to my hometown for a day or two?"

"What? Why all of a sudden?" Normani asks 

"Did you find out about your brother?" Dinah asks 

"You knew?!" I exclaim in shock 

"Yes, we knew. But, no, you can't go back to your hometown." Lauren says sternly 

I look at Camila with pleading eyes "Camila, please say yes. Please tell them to say yes."

"Why? I agree with her. You're not going back home." says Camila sternly 

"Why?! He's my brother and he's in the hospital! Wouldn't you go to see Sofia?!" I yell 

"Hey, don't talk to me with that tone! We said no, and it's a no. What were the rules I told you again?!" Camila yells at me 

I sigh and mumble "Don't talk disrespectfully and listen to what you say." 

"Right, so you're not going and keep your voice down!"

"Oh, but it's okay for you to yell?!" I yell back at her 

"What did I say about that tone?!" She yells

I look down at the floor a bit scared. 

"Now, we said no. You're not going." She says trying to be calm

"But, why?" I whine 

"You're coming with us to the AMA's, not going back to a family that doesn't want you. Besides, we already got you a dress and a seat. You're coming."

"You're not going anywhere we're not going, so go sit down. We're leaving to get ready at 1, so we have 4 more hours of sitting in here." Lauren says 

I look down and mumble "I hate all of you."

"What did you say?!" yells Camila about to get up 

"Nothing!" I say stomping back to the couch before she can grab me. 

Ally grabs Camila before she can walk any further away from the bed and says "Stop being so harsh on her. We'll think about it, honey."

I scoff "Yeah, sure you will."
