Silence

   I woke up 11:30 am expecting to hear TV sounds, laughter, children playing and chitchat of neighbors. But not a single sneeze was heard!

   It was too quiet that I turned on the radio. It didn't turn on because it had broken batteries. :(

   I wanted to have a sound trip using my iPod but it was low battery. :(

   I played musical instruments but Uncle made me quiet because he was taking a nap. :(

   I wanted to play with other children but no one was home. :(

   I needed any source of sound that was loud enough to entertain me. A snap wasn't enough, even a sound of cough. I thought I was in a world of total quietness and silence, there wasn't any source of sound or violence.

   I sneaked out of home and took a long stroll! I took a small handbag with me that contains a notebook, a pen, $10 and a box of cookies! I went off and discovered the depths of our town.

   I saw the town hall, a big condominium, a factory and the biggest candy shop!

   I didn't buy a single piece of gummy bear or something! Not because I don't eat candies(I'd die for apple candy!), but they were too expensive! A small piece of lemon gummy was worth $1! I'll just buy those old-fashioned stockings!

   Anyway, I skipped and skipped away but still, no sounds! I didn't even see a single person walk! No one was in buildings or houses, what has happened? I didn't bother to know. I walked further and soon reached home.

   I found noise again! Now, I am happy to hear sounds although they hurt my ears! :( But noise is better than silence!
