Uncle Martin, Jane and I decided to go to the park. I'm so excited! We arranged our things and packed lunch. We plan to have a picnic there!
I wore my green ruffled tube, pink flats and a white pleated skirt. Jane wore a purple summer dress and brown boots. Uncle wore what he used when we took Daisie to the airport! Did he wash it already? I mean, isn't it dirty?
Anyway, we all went out. We were at the park when we remembered that we didn't get the keys! Oh no! We're doomed! What will we do? How can we get in? All our possessions are locked in!
Instead of thinking about it, we just continued the eating and admiring and exploring of the park. After 10 minutes, Jane and I felt we were kids again because we played at the playground!
We were having fun with spelling bee games until it rained! And we even forgot our umbrella! This is not a good day! We ran to the waiting shed and waited for an air-conditioned bus. But all buses were full! What will happen to us?
Luckily, a taxi parked in front of us! We hopped in and wiped ourselves. When we reached our stop, we payed $3 and jumped out.
At last, we were back home! But wait, the keys! Oh, how are we gonna get in? I just walked around our house and noticed an open door at the second floor! I immediately called Jane and Uncle to let them see what I found!
We climbed the ladder and safely got in. Uncle and Jane praised me, "Good thing we have you! We shouldn't have got inside quickly if you weren't here!" said Uncle Martin. Jane replied, "That's my sissy! A bright, smart and curious little kiddo!" "Don't ever call me like you are older than me! Wait, you ARE older than me!" Then we all bursted into laughter. But this day maybe was a disaster. :( :)
