The worried family woke up and Alexa got a clever idea. "I'll buy just one bead in the market! I'm sure they got lots of 'em!" So, Alexa started to buy.

She went to many stores but not a single bead was sold. A child noticed Alexa's depressed face. "Hi, Miss! I'm Dixie! Have any problem?" "Hi! Yes, I have a problem. I need beads." "Oh, beads! I know a bead seller just near the market! His name is Green-cap!" "Thanks for the info! I am Mia!" Then the child ran away.

Alexa searched the place out of town. It started to rain but she still can't find Green-cap! The little child was still there! She offered Alexa an umbrella. "Hey, how about you? Won't you need an umbrella too?" "Oh, no! Bye!" Before Alexa can even say "Thank you", the child vanished. "What an angel..." Alexa thought.

Anyway, she continued her search and soon found Green-cap. "Hi, a child told me you sell beads! Can I buy just one?" "Oh, sorry Miss! I only sell 20 beads for a sixpence." "What? I only have a fourpence! Can I just pay for it with this? We really need it!" "Sorry! I can't give it to you for only a fourpence." Alexa just left.

The child appeared again. This time, she gave Alexa a sixpence! "Oh, thanks Dixie!" Dixie didn't reply, she just nodded. Alexa then rushed to Green-cap's spot.

Green-cap sadly told Alexa that he had no more beads! "What? I got money now! Please, just a bead! Only one!" "Sorry, I can't order just one bead from my producer!" So, Alexa just left.
