jungkook gets intimidated by taehyung at the gym where jungkook shows taehyung how to properly use gym equipment. he gets a call from hoseok and leaves the place.
hoseok tells jungkook that he doesn't believe all these suicide cases he got were actual suicides, but there is no proof of them being murders just yet.
jungkook asks hoseok to tell him about sooyuk. turns out, sooyuk (hoseok's brother) used to work for taehyung as his private secretary until one day he committed suicide.
jungkook tells hoseok about leeseok (the boy who works at the register table) and how he suspects namjoon in something. jungkook pampered hoseok up telling him to listen to his heart and not give up on these cases.

jungkook sat down on his bed and checked his work phone. after seeing that he had some free time before lunch, he immediately rose to his feet and ran out of his room, straight to the register table.
it was past twelve which meant that leeseok was probably already there.
jungkook wished he could've talked to namjoon about this all, ask questions that would definitely help him in this "investigation". jungkook must say that he was in a certain state of frustration. hoseok was a great detective, if he sensed that something was wrong, something was definitely wrong then! yet nobody wanted to listen to him and reopen the cases.
the people working with him must be either seriously dumb, either scared to proclaim their thoughts and opinions. this was a case where thoughts and opinions mattered a lot, any and all suggestions.
jungkook was pretty sure that if he were to tell this entire thing to a random passerby, even they would say there was something off.
every person who committed suicide had a handwritten suicide letter. it was definitely a little weird to jungkook, far not every single person writes a suicide letter, yet here every single victim in the past couple of months did.
hypothetically, if they were dealing with a serial killer, then the suicide letters must be his signature sign. this meant jungkook had to search for clues in the suicide letters... but where would he find them?
and why does sooyuk's suicide sounds so similar to the ones happening now even though it happened 2 years ago? what did namjoon know?
"aaaaaaaa!" jungkook screamed in the middle of an empty hallway. "why are there so many questions and absolutely no answers to any of them?!"
after jungkook finally reached the register table, he caught leeseok by his hand, before he could run away, and dragged him into the empty hallway.
"don't kill me!" leeseok screamed and covered his head with his arms.
"the fuck?? I'm not here to kill you, dumbass, do I look like a killer?" jungkook asked with confusion.
"you can never trust anyone..."
"you're right, but... this is different." jungkook didn't know if he could tell leeseok about his real identity. not about him being a fanboy but a private investigator at the seoul police station. nonetheless, he just said it himself: 'you should never trust anyone'. he might seem all innocent but what if he was some drug dealer, or even worse, the serial killer.
"please, tell me what you know about sooyuk, please."
