"hoseok?" jungkook entered the detective's office. "let's go."

"what? to where?" hoseok rose from his chair and looked at jungkook a little startled. by the looks of it, hoseok was having his lunch break now – a cup of coffee along with a cup of noodles.

"the abandoned factory. i know we decided upon going there tomorrow, but I don't think I will be able to wait any longer, especially after what had just happened." jungkook explained while trying to catch his breath, due to him running up the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator.

"goodness, jungkook, don't scare me." hoseok sank back into his chair and took a sip of his coffee. "come over and say what happened, no matter what it was it is not going to disturb my lunch break, and neither am I going anywhere without finishing this cup of noodles."

jungkook sneered and sat down in a chair next to hoseok.
"for some reason I thought that the serial killer might have been taehyung."
before jungkook got the chance to finish, hoseok erupted into loud laughter.
"hey!" jungkook chuckled. "I know it was dumb of me, but so many things were going through my head and it just-
i don't know."

"its alright." hoseok smiled. "so, tell me what happened."

"to make a long story short... remember I told you how I found this photo with sooyuk on taehyung's desk?" hoseok nodded. "this morning the photo disappeared and only the empty frame was left."

"wait what?" hoseok's expression was a mix of scepticism and distress.

"the worst thing is that taehyung sees no harm in that! he talked about it so casually..."

"someone who works in the mansion sneaked into his room at night and took away that photo! what the actual hell and how?" hoseok raised his voice.

"I have no idea how that happened and why and who- i just want to solve this case here and now and get over with it." jungkook said. "so, what do you say?"

hoseok took a final sip of his coffee and stood up. "we must get going." he slid on his jacket and grabbed the car keys. "go start the engine, I will go to general park and tell him what we will be doing. it is quite dangerous, so if we'd need backup, it will be there for us."

the awful factory created an unpleasant deja vu for both of the boys as they entered it. their flashlights just emphasized how nasty the place really was. they saw the same dusty boxes and revolting old rats.

hoseok and jungkook exchanged looks, mentally agreeing on moving further into the building. it reeked of moldy coffee, not too much of a surprise, ever since the last time they had visited the factory, the number of coffee cups multipled by five. it made them wonder if the assumed serial killer even slept after such ridiculous amount of the drink. they took a right turn and ended up in the storage room. they took the right turn only because the door on the left looked terrifying, they didn't know what exactly about it was terrifying, they hopes that those crimson marks on the doorknob were paint.
