jungkook got his two days off work and was very happy about it since he won't have to face taehyung after their little 'incident'.

jungkook went to the police station to help hoseok out with the cases. he talked about what happened with taehyung and hoseok advised him to talk it out before things get out of hand. later on, jungkook notices that the victims' writing differs from the writing in their diaries. this was the first clue. the murderer presumably forced the victims to write those suicide letters.

the rest of the evening was spent trying to find at least one more clue that would help them with the cases.
what they've found out wasn't exactly proof. for the police, it technically wasn't proof, they'd make up a hundred excuses, anything to make those cases sound like suicides just to end those cases as quickly as possible and get the money for it.

hoseok on the other side didn't care about the money, he had to solve this case. if jungkook and him were on the right track, then this track led to only one thing – a serial killer who masked his murders as suicides. and he was on the loose.
things were quiet for now, but serial killers don't stop until they reach their certain goal, and in this case, his goal was unknown... yet.

jungkook took soojin's suicide letter and examined it in his hands. they even used luminol* but no traces of blood were found on the clues.
(*forensic investigators use luminol to detect trace amounts of blood at crime scenes, as it reacts with the iron in hemoglobin. if you have watched detective movies, then you might have seen how they spray this weird liquid on places and if there was blood, it shines with a blue glow when using a flashlight on it.)

jungkook traced his finger across the paper and suddenly felt something with the tip of his finger. he turned the paper around to the backside and gave it a look, but saw nothing. then, he traced it with his finger and felt something again. it felt like there was some type of tiny sticker glued to the back of the paper.

"hobi, check this." jungkook handed the paper to hoseok and made him touch the same edge of the paper.

"what is this? a sticker?" hoseok asked.

"I don't know. I can't see it. It blends too well with the paper, but I can feel it's square form with my finger." jungkook explained.

"so can I ... check the other letter."

jungkook slid his fingers across the other letters only to find the same stickers on each one of them ...

"um, that's ... weird. do you think it might be another clue?" jungkook questioned.

"we can't say that for sure. but it's definitely weird that all those suicide letters have his weird sticker on them ..." hoseok looked at the clock on his desk and yawned. "these stickers must have a company they were made by. maybe if we find the company, we can get more answers, but for now, let's head home and sleep."

"yeah I agree, it got really late." jungkook nodded and started packing things up.

"sorry you had to spend your day off like this..." hoseok apologized.

"it's fine, hobi, I'm glad I can help." jungkook smiled.
