jungkook came to the conclusion of soobin being the serial killer. to make sure this assumption was correct they go to soobin's house.

soobin's house was quite horrifying from the inside. jungkook found his family photos and a tall cabinet with trophies and awards. hoseok and him assumed soobin's mother was the lost idol, but they had to make sure the information was a hundred percent correct.
jungkook feels horrible about this entire situation as he searches his friend's house further. both boys find two different photographs at the same time: hoseok finds an old photo of soobin with yoongi and thinks those two had some type of past, jungkook finds the photo that vanished from taehyung's desk except now it had namjoon's and sooyuk's face crossed out with a red marker meanwhile taehyung's face was circled.
taehyung was the next victim.

as jungkook was running to save the love of his life, he realized that there were so many hints he couldn't see. the wall of trust soobin had built between them covered up the truth and it hurt jungkook knowing that all these years of friendship were counterfeit.

jungkook waited impatiently for the police car to arrive, one that would take him to taehyung with the speed of light. hoseok stayed in the house to investigate more.
jungkook sat down on a curb and rubbed his temples. suddenly, he remembered about the sticker on the back of all suicide letter they've found and how both he and hoseok tried to understand what the number meant. since jungkook had some time, he replayed the gala night in his head - the musical elevator, taehyung's song...

jungkook really made everything harder than it was, he was looking for some clue with a hidden meaning, he was looking for an object. but the clue was right there and jungkook didn't get it, if he woul've gotten it back then, maybe now he wouldn't be anxiously sitting on a curb not knowing what was going on with taehyung; if he was alright or not.
taehyung's song in the elevator was the clue - it was all leading to taehyung, aka the last victim. 

but if soobin left such clues, he must have done them for a reason, right? did he want jungkook to find out? or was he just playing with fire?

if soobin really was a psychopath, then these questions could only be answered by him or a psychologist.

the officer who drove jungkook to the mansion and a couple more that were in the car were about to walk inside with jungkook, but he stopped them, saying that there was no need for that. he said that he'd give them a call if he'll need the help.

with a gun hidden under his jacket, jungkook walked out of the car and headed straight for the building. he saw the guards that stood by the entrance everyday and gave them a confusing look. if they were here, that meant soobin didn't get here yet. he took the elevator and got to taehyung's room, as namjoon said, that is where tae was.

jungkook slowly opened the door, expecting to see taehyung peacefully sleeping on the bed, but what he saw instead made his knees weak, he walked into the room and was about to scream, but his mouth got covered with a hand that pressed a little too hard for comfort.

taehyung was completely tied up, sitting on a chair next to his table with some cloth covering his mouth. jungkook made muffled noises, trying to get out of the firm grip, but it was all useless. he looked up – a mirror opposite of him came into sight and jungkook's eyes widened from what he was seeing. the person covering his mouth wasn't soobin...
it was yoongi.
but what was he doing here?! so was hoseok right? yoongi was soobin's accomplice?! but then, where was soobin?
