jungkook goes to leeseok's house to apologize but in the process catches kim seokjin who got to leeseok before jungkook could. after following the elder, jungkook witnesses seokjin with namjoon. leeseok and seokjin had a secret affair going on.

back in the mansion, jungkook is surprised by taehyung's trustworthy behavior.
seokjin caught jungkook and accused him of spying on him last evening but jungkook justifies his actions. the relationship between leeseok and seokjin remains unknown to jungkook.

"ahahaha, mr. kim, you really are something special." jungkook laughed so hard, he had to lean against the wall to not fall over.

jungkook and namjoon were standing near the broken coffee machine that nina and him weren't able to repair. namjoon told jungkook the story of how he accidentally broke the machine and jungkook couldn't get a hold of himself; namjoon's clumsiness was hilarious.

"no need to be so formal with me anymore, jungkook" namjoon said smiling at the younger. "you can just call me namjoon."

"really?" jungkook asked with surprisement. he truly admired namjoon and felt indescribable happiness after hearing this from him. he wished to be friends with namjoon more than anything! he was just so intelligent, talented, kind and–

"I just believe that being overly polite to each other isn't that important for us. we are both working for taehyung and that kind of makes us even, regardless of our age difference." namjoon explained.

"you are correct." jungkook replied and took a new cup to place it into the coffee machine. he clicked one of the buttons. the machine lit up with green light and filled the cup with an expresso.

"you can't imagine how thankful I am to you right now, jungkook, kim seokjin would've literally killed me for this." namjoon thanked jungkook and smiled.

"maybe next time, in case you break something else, call me and I'll be there to help you."

"let's just hope I won't break anything else." namjoon chuckled. "don't be afraid to ask me for help as well."

jungkook and namjoon went over to the elevator and waited for it to arrive. jungkook realized that he was very lucky. if he gets close enough to namjoon, maybe he'll tell jungkook what he knows. if leeseok was correct with his theories about namjoon being a witness, jungkook could be on the right track to solving the murder case regarding sooyuk.

"mr. kim!" the two heard a familiar voice after exiting the elevator and turned around. they saw seokjin who was standing at the end of the hallway.

"yes, sir seokjin?" namjoon came over to the elder.

"could you please come with me to my office? I have some important matters to discuss with you."

"of course."

jungkook bowed politely to the ceo and namjoon and watched them leave. jungkook was about to head to taehyung's room but stopped abruptly.
he walked to the end of the hallway where seokjin stood before and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
