𝙵𝙰𝙻𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙱𝙰𝙲𝙺 𝙸𝙽 𝚃𝙸𝙼𝙴

jungkook rejects the police's help and goes into the mansion by himself. everything seemed to be fine, so he assumed soobin did not get there yet. but he was wrong.

jungkook finds taehyung tied to a chair in his room. instead of soobin, jungkook gets caught by yoongi who places a gun against his head to keep him in place. not long after, soobin enters the room and openly comes out to jungkook as the serial killer. he tells jungkook all about hating kpop and wanting to get rid of him. he tells the story of how yoongi and he became robbers until soobin decided to kill sooyuk. namjoon witnessed his best friend get killed but yoongi threatens him, just like soobin ordered him to, making namjoon live with the dark secret. jungkook feels horrible from the received information and thinks how would hoseok handle the truth about his brother's death.

back in the house, hoseok gets informed of a body found in the basement. it was soobin's mom - the lost idol. soobin admits he killed her the night he killed sooyuk.

jungkook looks into soobin's eyes searching for at least the slightest bit of sympathy or regret, but no, his eyes seemed to have lapidified along with his heart, as if creating a totally new human, being incapable of feeling any kind of emotions except for the negative ones.

jungkook could not believe he was friends with somebody who killed his best friend's brother, and even worse - his own mother. soobin could've killed jungkook before... just thinking about it sent shivers down jungkook's spine. not like he felt safe at the moment either.

"you... you killed your own mother... you killed your own mother." jungkook chanted to himself, trying to help his brain take in the information.
"how heartless are you?"

"I told you that I hated her. she was a dreg of the society." soobin responded nonchalantly. he turned his attention back to taehyung and smirked, continuing his knife extravaganza.
jungkook spun his head around to catch yoongi's apathetic expression. he was lost and scared. he didn't know what to do, he didn't know how to save taehyung from this monster.

the silence was interrupted by jungkook's ringtone. soobin abruptly turned away from taehyung and grabbed jungkook's phone from his pocket.

"oh look, it's hoseokie." soobin chuckled. "pick up the phone and say everything is okay. try to sound as calm and natural as possible."

soobin handed the phone back to jungkook and the elder swiped up with his shaky hands.
"hey, hobi..."

"jungkook, we found something horrifying in the basement..." hoseok's voice was low and unsteady.
"I'm terrified, soobin is out of his mind and we must catch him now."

"yes, we must do that before anything worse happens." jungkook replied. "will you be heading out to search for him?"

"I'll have to inform general park first." hoseok spoke. "what's up with you? weren't you going to taehyung's?"

jungkook glanced at soobin who was nodding his head.

"y-yes... I'm with taehyung right now, everything is fine, don't worry..." there was a little pause before he continued. "we're eating pineapple pizza, you hear me? pineapple pizza. just chilling in the room."
